It was a bad day for GGG

I don't know why they aren't building Jacobs and Quillin properly. Both don't fight often enough to have a lasting impact, and even when they do fight, the opponents aren't that great. Their matchmakers are dropping the ball.
Quillin/Macklin and Jacobs/Stevens at the Barclays would be great.Last edited by kiaba360; 06-08-2014, 08:18 AM.Comment

They actually all want to fight him.
Macklin has been calling him out, Truax almost got a fight and Mora actually almost had it, agreed to all their terms and then Quillin team pulled it and took a fight with KonecnyComment

You disagree? Martinez would've made Geale/Soliman look like knockout artists if they fought him that night. Both have great stamina/underrated boxing ability and would've grinded Martinez into the ground. Sergio was in pitiful shape.Comment

Anybody in their right mind would kill for a Cotto/GGG bout. But, even as good as Cotto looked last night, he's still at the tail end of his career. He's likely going to take the biggest money making fight that he can take from here on out. Would a GGG fight be the most lucrative option for him at this point? Highly doubtful. I'd be surprised if it happens.Comment

Seriously.Do you seriously believe Cotto is the no.1 MW? Let's ignore that he's the lineal champ for beating Martinez for a second. Ask yourself is he better than GGG? Will he beat GGG if they fight? How about the other MWs?
I think this is one of those rare occasions where the man who beats the man isn't even the man at the division.
