he's the best middleweight in the world. sergio should have fought him instead of cotto. he's much more deserving.

golovkin may have seriously stopped martinez in round one.

A Haymon fighter with a GBP contract? I guess it's possible. Do you think he'll feel compelled to choose a side if Haymon establishes his own promotion?

Martinez lost to Murray. He's the "champion" but his shelf life is expired. Better to cash out in a big fight then take a beating for much less.

Dibella knows his fighter better than all of us and now we know why he stayed away from GGG. Especially after a layoff, knee and hand surgeries.

That's an easy "promotional issues doe" excuse if I've ever heard one.

Exactly. GGG isn't even Top Rank

Quillin said Haymon told them that the GGG fight will make sense when it's a big PPV fight between the two of them.

I don't even mind Quillin not wanting to fight Golovkin yet, but at least fight other top 10 middleweights.

After the shakes and butterflies subsided in the 4th or 5th round, I could just lay back and enjoy Cotto's great performance. Before that, I was shocked and a little bitter. I really did not want it to play out this way. It's wonderful to see him make history, but he opened the floodgates for a bunch of bullshit to happen. I hope Cotto whups whoever steps to him next, whether it's Floyd or Canelo.

The only reason its nor a big ppv is because Quillin isn't fighting anyone. If he beat Sturm, Soliman, Geale , Barker and build a resume it would gain steam.
