I wouldn't diss that schit man. Have you ever tried to do some of those routines before? If so, how well did you fare?

I have even seen some cross-fit nut huggers combine combat pistol shooting with pull ups...

Which begs the question; when does anyone take a break in a gunfight for a set of pull ups?
The old time boxers got into great shape for a fight just by lots of running, skipping rope, shadow boxing, bag punching and sparring. Simple but effective use of their muscles in the same way they will use them in a boxing match. Perhaps they would have benefitted some by some modern training methods but not by much.

The crossfit craze is a little silly, but if Guerrero was weak in the core and hip areas and they've strengthened them, that will do a lot for him

ive been doing a lot of core work lately - inner core, abs and lower back using stability ball, abs exercises and hyperextensions or deadlifts

none of that is crossfit or even remotely original to cross fit

Fixed. Real hipsters wouldn't even have the money to afford a typical crossfit program, plus it's too mainstream.

And I agree these people have no knowledge of the sport and I would never pay all that money for essentially a personal trainer, but a good program can benefit him. Boxing needs to get with the program. All weights aren't bad.

"Even girls can do that crap lol"

Is that even a legitimate argument doe? Tell that to all the Female Olympians.

                    Good combination imo.
I have a question all these new tactics in conditioning but why is it the old timers never had problems going 15 rounds and why is it about 80 % of todays fighters can barley fight 12 rounds.
