Shawn Porter: Kell Brook should ‘back up’ his talk

Why not put Shawn Porter vs. Kell Brook as the Sept. 13th co-feature of the Mayweather card? Right now Floyd's options are the Sergio Martinez/Miguel Cotto winner, Marcos Maidana II, Amir Khan, Danny Garcia, Keith Thurman & Ruslan Provodnikov. I think we'll get a decision on June 16th or 17th to get the press going into September. If I'm a betting man, I go with a Maidan rematch followed by the Martinez/Cotto winner and Ruslan Provodnikov a distant third. Really depends what unfolds in the next 2 weeks.

Seriously Kell Brook doesn't even Deserve a Shot at Porter in first place and he is acting like he's the Boss and wants the fight to happen in Sheffield only

Doesn't deserve a title shot? He's the mandatory.

Obviously he wants the fight in his backyard, if Team Brook make an offer and Porter accepts, that's up to Porter.

I also don't think he's over-hyped - he's a good fighter who by virtue of being way ahead of domestic and european competition is considered to be on the fringes of the world scene. I don't think too many people 'hype' him ahead of that position.

It doesn't matter if Brook is the "cash-cow" or not. If Eddie Hearn ponies up in the purse bid he can have it wherever he'd like.

Porter is the champ and gets 75% of the split. It's put up or shut up for Brook now.
