Floyd is trying to act like he has a backup opponent...Floyd has no other choice but to fight Maidana if he wants to fight in September...If I'm Maidana, I make sure I get to wear the MX gloves and not the pillows...and I get at least double from last time...

Maidana has other options and can make a million fighting a lot of other guys btw...and most people feel Maidana won when you don't include the biased American media...
I don't know what "most people" you're talking about. He did better than most, but still he didn't win. Floyd could fight Thurman, and Porter if Brook doesn't move quickly. You know who doesn't have a backup plan at Welterweight? I don't even have to say..."most people" know who i'm talking about!

Can't blame maidana. But if he's not chosen. Then he can fight broner on the undercard

For that kind of money and opportunity, I'd wait too. No rush.

If Floyd was trying to "avoid" him, he would have never fought him in the first place. Maidaina should wait to see what Floyd's choice is, but if Porter or Khan comes calling, he should take the fight. All those who were hatin' on him before he fought Floyd, will now pay to see him fight. He's a beast, and GBP has plenty of fights for him other than Floyd!

Maidanas only options are khan or Broner. And people who don't count think Maidana actually won, lmmfao.

He should try fight porter for the IBF, That would be a huge fight don't think he'd be able to bully porter though.

I really don't blame him for only talking about Floyd right now because if he mentions any other name Floyd will say he doesn't seem that into it, and if he doesn't try to hold Floyd's feet to the fire Floyd's folks (at all levels) will make him 'unworthy' of a rematch. I had it 7-5 for Chino, and if I score a certain way I can get it 7-5 for Floyd, but I'm profoundly su****ious of anybody that compares it to the Cotto fight or who saw it 8-4. So Chino should do all he can do until the door closes, and everybody should remind Floyd well into retirement if he doesn't make this fight.
Good post. I'm not mad if Maidana rides off into the sunset if Floyd ducks a rematch.

Floyd knew how tough he was, that's why he chose him over Khan. Now that he beat him, we'll see who's next. After Guerrero, Cotto, Canelo and Maidaina, i'm sure it will be another WORTHY opponent.

I've never been an advocate of the sound being off to judge.
