LOL @ you thinking Floyd cares about his already tarnished reputation. Floyd has already shown he doesn't care about his legacy by not fighting Pac after Pac agreed to blood-testing... nobody will ever consider Floyd a top lb for lb ATG...Floyd doesn't care...he turned down 100 million and a fight that could have put his name up with there with the greats of the sport and turned it down because he was afraid of the risk...

So obviously if you turn down Pac and 100 mil with the whole world calling you out to take the fight..Obviously Floyd won't care if Maidana calls him out..Maidana is not threatened by Floyd and feels it was an easy pay check for him..wasn't so easy for Floyd...

Maidana CLEARLY Deserves Sept Rematch With Floyd; Ball IN Floyd's Court To Man Up

Floyd said no problem. No need to wait and beat around the bush. Floyd isnt' going to fight Manny. Khan is no where close to deserving a shot based on his win beating a tomato can in Collazo who's beaten NOBODY credible or in the Top 10. Floyd isn't going to fight Provo, not going to fight Thurman, not going to fight Shawn Porter, not willing to fight Gennady at 160. Floyd isn't going to fight Danny Garcia who hasn't fought at '47 yet. Bradley needs a rest. Floyd just fought T.I. to a draw this past weekend. Maidana makes the only sense. I guess Pacquiao needs to start hanging out at Fatburger in order to get a fight with Floyd.

Maidana is most likely going to retire soon, at least that's what it sounds like. He's had a great career but I would like for him to stay around longer and give us more great fights specially since there are so many interesting ones that could be made if he continues his career.

It definitely seems Maidana is in the same shoes as Provodnikov as in his fights are numbered especially after getting a big pay day against Floyd to be able to retire comfortably on. It's a damn shame thanks to the cancer wars between promoters we never will see Maidana-Provodnikov. That would be fight of the year without a doubt.

I can see where Maidana is coming from. I would do the same thing. If no Mayweather maybe fight Thurman to get one of the Mayweathers last fights, if not ride off into the sunset a rich man. Hopefully he can stay that way because i know a lot of these foreign fighters give away so much cash in their poorer countries that they end up broke like Pac even though Arum robs him too. Hopefully we get to see him vs Thurman and a Khan rematch before he retires.

Pacquiao vs Maidana is better than Marquez 5. If Rios beats Diego Chaves, then he's an option for Maidana.

              Rios won't beat Chaves.

Oh, am I supposed to be surprised to find that he is going to do what everyone else does when they fight Mayweather?
Take a year off & hope for a rematch, then blame their time off on managerial issues. And come back a faded version of themselves and wonder where the time went... See Guerrero, baldomir, Judah, Alvarez, cotto, hatton

Maidana walked out of that fight without a mark on his face..those Floyd pitty pat pot shots did nothing to him lol. Floyd walked out with a bruised face..and a sore body...

Floyd is trying to act like he has a backup opponent...Floyd has no other choice but to fight Maidana if he wants to fight in September...If I'm Maidana, I make sure I get to wear the MX gloves and not the pillows...and I get at least double from last time...

Maidana has other options and can make a million fighting a lot of other guys btw...including beating down Broner again...but I doubt Haymon let's little Gary Coleman take another beating...and most people feel Maidana won when you don't include the biased American media...
82% of all writers said Floyd won, 10% said draw, and only 8% said Maidana, mostly Phillipino and Latin American writers. Maidana won't demand a damn thing, because he has made it clear the only fight he wants is with Mayweather. And he still won't be able to wear cheater gloves. I guess Margarito, should've been able to have his desired wraps vs cot to in the second fight huh.
