Its the biggest fight for maidana, so no need to go chase anything else till floyd makes his choice..
And maidana has to be the leading candidate, with khan tied up with ramadan, and garia looking bad vs herrera...
Porter seems like a logical choice, but i can see him and thurman battling on the undercard, with maidana rematching floyd

IMO its either porter or maidana for floyd'd september fight

porter has mandatory obligation against brook and needs to keep that IBF title as it's really his only "in" to the mayweather sweepstake at present.

maidana will get the september date and whoever has that IBF title will be next May's unification date imo.

So if Khan, thurman, garcia, etc want in the hat for next may it's porter they need to getm matched with in nov/dec!
