Why do you keep on saying he quit? Corner stopped it.

What is with you guys anyway? All these guys are fine opponents for Quillin but not GGG but its cool GGG fights even lesser guys.

I think GGG must be ****ing you tbf
Get off his nuts & start shouting how you want to see the guy face a live body and not more non durable cannon fodder. How much longer do we have to put up with this circus act?
You said that couple of days after GGG fought Stevens, I'm not making this stuff up but I don't bother to find the exact thread either.

Also, everybody here know how you hate and criticize Golovkin yet you've got no problem with defending Matthysse or Chakhiev.

I really like you dan and I think you're one of the best posters on this forum but when it comes to Golovkin you turn into hypocrite.

I thought that was what prevented the Quillin vs GGG from happening, the HBO connection. Some people are just too dumb to keep insisting on making ****** threads.

I want Quillin/Lemiuex because there's a chance that he'd win and possibly face 3G. With the HBO/Showtime drama, there's no reason to believe Quillin/GGG will happen.

I'd give Lemiemux a shot at dropping GGG.

Matthysse & Chakhkiev have fought legitimate world class opposition though. I have trashed plenty of fighters I support for the same thing inc Brook.

I do contradict myself and such I will be the first to admit that but I am just telling it how it is, Geale is acceptable for now and would be his second best win. I can't keep giving the guy passes for fighting such poor opposition. With a guy like Geale its more a case of it'll do for now. I preferred the Chavez Jr fight to Geale. I'd much rather say Kessler.
Yes some will argue Geale would beat Chavez Jr but its a case of he will surely put up a lot better argument.

No matter how it comes across I don't hate Golovkin, I just feel the hype is totally premature and unjust and its sheer frustration of wanting to see him fight someone who can show us just how good he truly is. A guy like Geale can't do that, he will make GGG look a monster.
I may come across as harsh but I am not a fan asking him to fight Ward, I wouldn't expect that, just a decent step up. To me Geale is Macklins level at best but Macklin has some power so it was more intriguing.

Geales got heart, bags of it, he is a cardio freak but outside of that, I see a mediocre fighter. He does everything 'okay' nothing great by any means and his boxing ability on here is disgustingly overrated.

Rakhim fought Diablo in only his 16th pro fight.

Lucas has around the same amount of fights GGG does now & has already fought Garcia, Peterson, Judah, Soto and a lot of unknown dangermen

You can't tell me neither of those two haven't been feared or had difficulty getting fights in the past. Neither had quite the amateur pedigree GGG did or a world title and 10 defenses

Hypothetically is Geale on the level of any of the above named?

Geale is without a doubt far better than Chudinov or Fletcher but them a side, I see him as the weakest link. He is the most vulnerable fighter out of all willing opposition. He has been inactive through no fault of his own so Geale will do but then can he not just fight Kessler or Chavez Jr, push for Sergio when he beats Cotto
Just someone a bit better than Geale who in reality is barely a step above an Anthony Mundine.

Here is one tidbit about Lemieux that may interest some of you. He uses the same Grant Pillow gloves that Floyd uses for his past 2-3 fights. He may have switched over to them as he kept hurting his hands the past few years.

Geale is a solid fighter. To pretend he isn't, and then rate Lemieux over him, is laughable at best. You can try to backtrack now and act like you're criticizing Geale for the good of the sport or whatever, but you're actually taking credit away from a proven, underrated fighter and giving it to a once overhyped Lemieux. Yeah, Lemieux was hyped like crazy before getting eaten up by Rubio. Now you're rehyping like you accuse people of doing with GGG. Man, incredible.
