And LOL - Geale's chin is less sturdy than Lemieux'??? This has to be your first Lemieux fight.

I've seen a fair bit of him & his chin looks alright from what I've seen. Is he packing glass? Only time I recall him hurt was against Rubio and that was from fatigue more than anything. He certainly hasn't been down close to a dozen times by non punching journeymen like Geale has.

He most likely would get bombed out fast, I don't like any middleweight out theres chances of going toe-to-toe with GGG but I do think Lemieux has the power to make it interesting.

I just can't get Geales chin out of my mind, everytime I've seen him get hit hes hit the deck or been rocked to his boots & by guys who frankly couldn't burst a g****. If he can avoid getting hit he can make it interesting, maybe.

If I am paying my hard earned money and given the choice I'd take the Lemieux fight over Geale any day. At least he has somewhat of a punchers chance. Geale has no hope.

        Geales chin?

Did you not see lemiuexs chin? You dont even need to hit him that hard or that much for him to quit

Ah man... you just can't stand GGG, I know. Even when he finally gets a good opponent, which Geale absolutely is, you're downplaying it so hard that you're propping up the horrible Lemieux. Geale would destroy Lemieux.

Why Not? Solid Fight, Lemieux seems to have his career back on track so now he is looking to step up his competition again and we shall see how he does

Quillin is extremely BEATABLE so it is a great Opportunity for Lemieux

For Quillin, it is NO REWARD in beating Lemieux to be honest but could be a chance to fight in front of a good crowd in Canada

              What tripe.
I have always been hugely critical of Geale and it would be the same if Sergio was to fight him. He is vulnerable & no better than a Macklin.
Would he beat Macklin head-to-head? I do doubt it.

Hes only relevant because the division sucks balls. There is nothing special about Daniel Geale in the slightest. A Euro level fighter bordering world level due to the division being dead.
I doubt the latter too, I think Lemieux would knock him out.

Personally Lemieux is what he is. I still cannot see him beating the top guys, but he can give the top guys some anxious moments with those bricks for hands he has wrapped up.

Even last night he was coming in squared up, you just cannot do that at the top level and get away with it. you will pay a high price.

He has been stopped though, Geale never has and he'd beat Rubio. Geale is a genuine top 5 MW, Lemieux not.

If you wanted Golovkin chin-checked then frankly the best guy in the division to do it was Stevens and GGG took the left flush.

Geale was nothing even before Barker beat him. Now he is talked up as a GGG opponent hes suddenly this great fighter?

Geale don't beat Quillin either. He isn't on Quillin, GGG, Sergio, Jacobs, N'Dam's level.
A Euro operator who lucked a title against a shopworn, unmotivated Sturm who has looked vulnerable as hell for the last 5 years.

GGG gets more credit from me for beating Macklin than he does Geale. He is a frontrunner!

I don't think Stevens is the puncher others do. His power comes from his speed. Hes not this one punch K.O artist people think.

Hes knocking out 154lb journeyman who have been stopped half a dozen times before against everyone they have fought who isn't a total scrub.

He has good power but nothing special in my eyes. Lemieux is far heavier handed than him, its clear as day regardless of who he failed to stop (like one guy you'd expect him too)
Lemieux for all his faults is a massive puncher. He may even hit harder than GGG
