And no, of course he's not.

How can he be P4P #2 when he's done nothing of note since 2011?

Not long before he's out of my Top 10 in all honesty. He's outside the Top 5.

Ward has pretty much dominated his div,who is there for him to fight??That's the question??Who are the fans wanting him to fight??Exactly,nobody..Ward should not be penalized for this imo..

He should either fight top ranked guys in his division or move up to the next division and fight the top guys there.

No fcking way is he p4p number 2. The dude barely fights!!!!! Boxing is becoming ludicrous these days. We're literally seeing half these guys become what can barely be called part time fighters. Semi retired is a better word for it.

I can agree with this, yet we know he is trying to get away from his promoter..It's not as simple as him not wanting to fight, again this is a business and believe me there are other things at work here..

I don't care what the reason is, the fact is he's done absolutely nothing since 2011.

                    I don't consider that top P4P material.

Part of the layoff is from a shoulder injury. That's understandable. So the 2 times over however many months is not keeping it in context. Since he returned from the injury, he fought within a few months.

He fought the highest ranked opponent in his division in November that he hasn't already beaten. So in actuality its only a 6 month layoff. Since November:

Wlad fought once and beat Leapai. That's not enough to move him up.

Pac beat Bradley and its a great win but he still got KTFO by Marquez. If he beats Marquez he will be elevated.

Marquez beat Alvarado but lost to Bradley. Not enough to elevate him.

Rigondeaux beat Agbeko and has a throwaway fight to end his contract in July. Not enough to elevate him.

These guys have all fought once since Ward was last in the ring. In reality NOBODY is super active these days. If Ward gets a fight within the next 3 months he will be just as active as the rest of these guys.
