Why did he fight fonfora instead of kovalev? What was the reason? He has a belt and money and is highest rated at the time
He signed a contract for more money from Showtime. Thats the big picture. Its that simple. Would i have liked him to fight Kov? Sure why not but it didnt happen and now hes angling to fight the best at LHW. I see nothing wrong with it

Ok you are living in a box and wont step out. We will just go round and round.

Maybe continue this later cause im closing my office and going home

Kovalev should be the last person complaining. He had his chance, and passed it up because he knew he'd lose. Stevenson didn't make the same mistake and jumped at the opportunity as any boxer should
Fighting kovalev and beating Hopkins as we'll will do way more for his cares than fonfara

Stevenson had 2 option when picking his next opponent, kovalev or fonfara

Stop projecting already, he wasn't a psychic when he declined kovalev for fonfara knowing show time would come and later offer him more money

Again when presented with kovalev this year, why did he say no to a guy who's rated higher and brings more money and a belt AT THAT TIME. Answer the question, why are you avoiding it

Now he's fighting he 10th best instead of the 3rd best

Again of you missed it when I said it, KOVALEV DID THE SAME THING AND FOUGHT THE MUCH EASIER FOE WHEN HE WAS BHOP MANDATORY!!! why is it OK when he does it but you're bashing Stevenson for doing the same? in addition, I will put this on lamest terms: would you rather fight a good fighter and make 2 mils or face a legend whose still very dominant and make 3 mils? Answer seems obvious

He signed the fonfora fight before show time was ever involved and you know this. Show time did NOT offer hmm more money to fight fonfara instead if kovalev when he signed the contract. Stop being a complete ****** alresdy and answer my question.

Why did he chose fonfora over kovalev, (this has nothing to do with showtms they were not involved at all, he signed it for HBO)

No he didn't, Hopkins told him to go fight cleverly and Espinoza said showtime would not approve the fight

Again I'm asking why he took fonfara instead of kovalev. He could have fought kovalev Tomoro and then Hopkins next, but it's fonfora instead , why ?

For the same reason all major fights take a while to happen, money offered wasn't right. Kovalev fought cleverly and 2 other bums, Stevenson beat Chad D with the knockout of the year, then beats cloud, a former champ, he obviously is worth more than Kovalev is, and he wants to get paid as such. Simple as that. Kovalev needs Stevenson more than Stevenson needs him
