Doubt Alvarez will happen, dude is a GYM fighter I think.

Stevenson didn't have to choose between Kovalev and Hopkins. If he really thought he could beat Kovalev he could have fought him first, won the WBO belt, and then gone to showtime to fight Bhop for even more money than he is getting now. Bhop wasn't about to retire if Stevenson had fought Kovalev before him instead of Fonfara.
There can be only one reason Adonis pulled out of fighting Kovalev after agreeing to do it - he thought the fight was too risky. However you look at it, if you pull out of negotiations for a fight because you think the other guy might beat you, that's a duck.

B-Hop won't be around for much longer though, every fight could be his last. Beating Fonfara/B-Hop turns the Kovalev bout into a potential PPV attraction. Kovalev is still building himself, so maybe it's best for everyone involved to let Adonis/Kovalev marinate.

Kovalevs been calling out Adonis since August of 2013 when he beat Clevery. Both guys went 4-0 in 2013 with 4KOs. Both guys co featured on the same show in November to set up a fight between them afterward, both guys then took ANOTHER tune up fight... The second one not til May 2014.

How much marination do we need? This fight was already marinated enough after Bellew and Sillakh got KOd. Hell this fight had enough marination even BEFORE that November show.

Stevenson avoided the "high risk-high reward route." It is what it is. But it's still a duck no matter how you choose to look at it IMO

            This.

I said the same thing, but never mind, the blinded haters won't argue with you or things like that. They will ask again "Why is Adonis fight with Fonfara?" like they didn't even understand your sentences...

Oh and P.S. Pascal is still waiting for B-Hop to take that blood test btw...
Hahahahaha these keyboard warriors think they know best when speaking about other people's career. Hmmmmm Stevenson ducking a guy who hasn't the best quality opponents who fought a bum his last fight. Yet you hear biatches like you complaining. The fight will happen why would someone with 10 straight KO's be afraid of anybody. Kovelev tards must've either been embreads or dropped on there heads when there were babies.

If Adonis gets past Fonfara/B-Hop and doesn't get it on with Kovalev, I'm going to be pissed. Until then, Kov needs to get Pascal/Chilemba/Alvarez in the ring and whup their asses. The only way he's going to put pressure on Adonis is if he remains active and dominant. Ideally, Adonis beats Fonfara tonight, and beats B-Hop in late 2014. Kovalev would fight twice before this year is over, preferably against top 15 opposition. Then, Adonis/Kov is made in early 2015. I could also see Ward getting involved and maybe fighting Adonis before Kov gets to. That would really be messed up.

Doubt it'll be Alvarez but yeah i guess he's coming back in August.

We'll see what happens. Expect to be pissed because this fight isn't happening, IMO. We should of gotten this fight instead of Fonfara-Agnew.
