They already did that. Kovalev KO'd Silakh and Stevenson KO'd Bellew.

    Stevenson's team wanted ANOTHER tune-up

When you turn down a big fight to face a bum like Forfarna for less money, it's a duck. That is what a duck is. Some fans have become so pussified that they don't even know what ducking is any more.

Ah, good call, thanks for the refresher.

This low risk, high reward approach is horrible for us fans.

Of course you didn't read what I wrote about this.
I copy it for you wiseguy:

"I answer your question. It's simple. Kovalev is the riskier oppoonent now, not B-Hop. Even if Stevenson lose to B-Hop, he can fight with Kovalev for relatively big money. But if he'd fight with Kovalev now, and lose, he'd probably lose by KO (or so Kovalev if he'd lose) and after that maybe Stevenson could never face with Hopkins for big money, because the lower interest. + Hopkins will retire next year (he said, that he won't boxing anymore when he'll be 50) and Stevenson is 36 years old now. Don't worry the time favours for Kovalev, not for Stevenson. I just don't understand how can be Kovalev and all the eastern block fanboys be more impatient than the 36 years old Stevenson... Be patient, I think the Stevenson-Kovalev match will happen, probably in 2015. IMO Stevnson didn't duck anyone, he just reflect the risk and the money and he put his opponents and future match ups in the right order. Probably he found out this very sound order before the Fonfara fight was fixed. He stat the most risky but least lucrative (among the top guys naturally) opponent to the end. Don't you think it's pretty ****ing logical?"

Stevenson is trying to maximize his earning potential, i get it. Unfortunately, Kovalev will have to play the waiting game and fight everyone else. Hopefully he fights the highest ranked opponents possible (Chilemba, Alvarez, etc.) and destroys them. Adonis/Kovalev could become a PPV-caliber match-up next year.
