Why bring up Ward? I agree he should move up if nothing is there but he has issues that dont seem to be an easy fix anytime soon.

BTW i like Kov i think hes pretty good but i think BHop and Stevenson are better and i have no problem with them fighting each other

Umm Stevenson and B-Hop didn't fight each other so number 1 didn't fight number 2 obvioulsy...Stevenson was able to fight on HBO and fighting at the end of 2013...

Chad Dawson gave him a shot at the Lightheavyweight championship, I bet alot of people never heard of Stevenson before that, Im sure few have and even so I bet whoever was a fan of his didnt just want to see him hijack the title when he finally won it, maybe its not fair to use that word but meh. I just feel he has to pay that favor forward. hes in a position to be in one of the few super fights that can be made currently in the sport, and the "Kovalev brings no money, no skills! he sucks" argument Stevenson using is pretty laughable. I mean cmon man.. The two best light heavyweights in the world, unification, HBO PPV, solid undercard.. It could truly be an event for casuals because of the probability of a KO. I know the hardcore fans are already sold, The timing of the whole thing, jumping to the other network and all that jazz, just screams DUCK. I never understand when a fighter claimed that the opponent that most fans or media feel pose a threat, was unknown or not worthy of the fight then turn around and fight someone almost noone has ever heard it.. that happens so often in Boxing.

He avoided a unification to fight fonfara. It's funny how people being up stevenson fighting Hopkins for money and a belt while he ducked the best guy he had available who bought the most money and a belt. Hmmm Stevenson hates money and belts
