For Stevenson to be called a duck, that would mean that he cherrypicked Hopkins and Hopkins is no cherrypick. That's if Stevenson wins tomorrow.

Replace "legend" with "50 year-old man who is not the animal that Kovalev is" and you got it...he was promised the easier fight with Hopkins...Hopkins throws about 10 punches a round, hasn't KOed an opponent in 100 years, and was dominated by Dawson...

P.S. something tells me if Stevenson demands random-blood testing, Hopkins won't take the fight or he'll start crying like he did with Pascal

Well the thing is...hard to have a stacked resume when you are ducked. Hopkins and Stevenson have both clearly ducked Kovalev to fight bums...even before the GBP-HBO cold war...

Can someone tell Andre Ward to stop *****in' about his promoter and move up and fight Kovalev...Oh I forgot..Ward is still chasing fights with guys he's already beaten. We all know that Ward loves to fight in Cali..and won't leave Cali..so I'm sure Kovalev would have no problem coming there...

Why bring up Ward? I agree he should move up if nothing is there but he has issues that dont seem to be an easy fix anytime soon.

people need to calm down. I think it will eventually happen. This fight is not as complicated to make as a mayweather-pac fight.

I can understand Stevenson's decision of going to haymon to max out his earning power. There's nothing wrong with that because let's face it kovalev is not well known yet. What I don't like though is talking **** while the fight is nowhere close to being made.

And yet Kovalev is still the LEAST LUCRATIVE fight of all the top light heavyweights out there! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely want to see Stevenson vs Kovalev but I respect the business side of boxing.

Steven only has a few short years left and he must make as much money as possible. Give Kovalev 1 more year and he may become the biggest payday for Stevenson next to a B-Hop fight.
