          Right now, Adrien Broner.

          If Golovkin fights one of these Super Middleweights and is IMPRESSIVE, would you say Golovkin is likely better than Broner given Broner's problems with Quintero, Ponce, and Paulie?

          I used to like Broner a lot but his shenanigans are ridiculous and he doesn't seem to take his career seriously. He still seems the same fighter he was when he fought Gavin Rees.

            Some guys get ranked much higher on the pro level because they did great things in the amateurs. Hell I believe if Ward didn't get that gold medal, he wouldn't be ranked that high in the P4P list for doing so little.

              GGG = Macklin........

                Don't be silly, Maidana isn't a "top fighter".

                He's a tough brawler, but definitely not an elite boxer.

                Broner's close win over a shot Malignaggi doesn't count for much. Look what Porter did to the faded Paulie.

                  it does to me...a loss takes away something from a fighter. that's strange if you think it doesn't. it's a competition and a loss is a loss. of course fighters always have a chance to recover from that loss and sometimes they recover more than what they lost.

                    Wilder needed a gift decision to win that ONE Bronze, and always lost to the top amateurs.

                    In contrast, GGG beat many top amateurs, and won multiple Gold medals and Olympic Silver.

                      A loss to Maidana does hurt little. It shows a ceiling.

                      His struggles with Ponce and Quintero also hurt.

                      His performance vs Molina also didn't help.

                      With all that he still has a better resume.

                      But Broner's not even close to being on GGG's level.
