"maidana never hit floyd flush", "maidana never landed a punch", "it wasn't close" the more you guys say it the more it becomes true!

Mayweather has nothing to prove. He won the fight this time and will easily win the next time; In a much less dramatic fashion if the two shall ever meet again. However, I tip my hat to Maidana though, in giving such a spirited effort even in defeat. He was allowed to cheat and fight his kind of fight but still lost. Now it's time for him to either move on or retire.

I really can't see anyone out there for Mayweather besides Maidana except Thurman or Danny Garcia. Cotto won't be ready to go (if he wins) in September. Canelo/Lara can't go in September. As far as I know, Porter has to fight Brook, and Khan says September is a no go due to religious reasons. I'm cool with the rematch or Thurman!

Those who believe Floyd's ready made excuse of fighting that way on purpose are very gullible. Floyd was in full flight in the 4th and Maidana still caught up to him.
Floyd was maneuvered to the ropes by a combination of jabs feints and cutting off the ring. I can actually see Maidana performing better than the first time in a rematch.
Regarding what some guys have said about Maidana rabbit punching Floyd - if a ref was to take points away from Maidana for doing that in a rematch it would cause a riot in the stadium and a storm outside, imo.
The way Floyd uses that "philly shell" defence - leaning into the opponent as well as pulling away - it's almost impossible not to "rabbit punch" him if you throw those chopping, Chavez Sr style hooks the way Chino does.

45-1. Nothing he can do to change that.
And 82% of people thought he won.

I don't really think mayweather is interested in a rematch either maidana wasn't intimidated at all by the so called next level he didn't even know who leaned ellerbe is and gave no respect although it was a close fight and mayweather won but I don't think he wants any part of maidana again that guy is tough.
