I feel like it's when you go buy a drink at a store and they're like

Hey, we got a small cup for 2 bucks... but a medium for 2.10 and a super double XL large for 2.20

And you're like meh.... already putting in 2 bucks, what's an extra 20 cents... might as well get it.

I dunno... I always get hD because I'm already putting in the money, why watch something inferior.

But yea, if I didn't want to watch it in HD, I'd stream it

If you're not buying HD, just stream it. Here's a link, it works. Hurry Pac is putting it on Bradley! It's the same quality as SD, look at the difference doe.

            Stream:

            SD PPV:

Dude, just get stream doe, bro. Same quality, only dat you not even paying.

With Comcast, an HD cable box is an extra $7 a month and HD channels are an extra ~$20 a month. SD looks fine on my TV. At this point paying an extra $27 a month is not necessary considering I watch very little TV as it is.

I remember my Dad paying $50 for the Tyson/Holyfield rematch in 1997. That $50 price point held strong until just a few years ago. Now it seems like the PPV prices have slowly crept up to the $70-80 range for HD.
Imagine what kind of PPV numbers a guy like Ali would have done? Most of his biggest fights were on network television and were international events. He would have averaged at least double the PPV numbers that guys like Oscar and Tyson did as Boxing was a major sport back then and not the fringe one it is now where casuals only care about it once or twice a year at most.

Haha, I'm an absolute idiot. I just realized I don't need the HD package to get HD PPVs. Well that's probably why I post on internet forums.

You can watch other HD channels that you are subscribed to in HD. Not paying for 4-5 PPV's a year in HD does not make an HDTV worthless.
