They both are very promising. The thing that impresses me about DDLH, is that he's very young but he's very composed and shows a high level of skill. That kid will be a champion some day.

He's just a prospect, still fighting nobodies. He'll be on HBO in the near future, for sure

PEDs are no longer the primitive 50's soviet era steroids that just make you muscles bigger and make you stronger. There are designer drugs now that can do wonders in many aspects of athletics and many are undetectable. Steroids can make you stronger, give you better stamina, and make you heal many times faster. Imagine getting a drug that allows you to train one day and heal fast enough to train the next day at the same pace. Or a drug that gives you an amazing boost of stamina so you can finish a fight feeling the same in round 12 as round 1. Or a drug that makes you more explosive. All of these things are basically possible with todays drugs. Now It wont make the average joe into FLoyd or pac but it can make a great fighter that much better.

During the 90s baseball steroids era, there were rejections saying that PEDs cant give you better timing or make you hit the ball better, yet pretty much all of the best homerun hitters of the last 25 years have either tested positive or been heavily tied to PEDs. Now im not saying JMM is on them but i would not be surprised in the least, they can do wonders and theres a reason so many fighters and athletes risk so much to use them, and thats because they work

I was able to get to the Forum just in time to watch Valdez fight, and that kid looks impressive. He looks much more explosive live and is well schooled. It'll be a while till we get to see his talents against better oppositon though.

As always great review on the weekends fights Cuauh always look forward to hearing your view after a big fight.

            There should be an
"Official Cuauh's take on the weekend of boxing" thread.

Do you think it's true that Nacho said he has about 5 or 6 Marquez' lined up at Romanza?

If that's true, there will be some good prospects coming out of there. I know Orlandito Del Valle said the hardest sparring he's ever done was there by far.

you responded to his post TS then put him on your ignore list so he could not respond.

he did not call you anything, he described what he thought your post was.

but hey you can do what you want.

just pointing out the difference in case you didn't know.

According to experts on the subject and logic. Designer drugs are very tricky, because the drug has to first be designed and used, and from that a test has to be developed. That is why major testing agencies keep blood for many years after it is drawn, so that better designed tests can catch the drug later. There are many drugs for which tests are not designed yet and new drugs are created all the time

developing the type of airtight tests required in high level athletics take years. the tests follow the drugs, not the other way around.

if heredia is developing new drugs, there are no tests that exist to detect them. the drugs will have to be "discovered" by the testing bodies / athletic commissions first. then, they develop tests. that takes years.

the best way to do this, from what i've read, is to freeze samples [piss and blood, maybe even sh#t and hair,] for several years. in time, the drugs that are being developed today will be something that a test can detect. you'd keep the samples for years, and test them annually for new drugs.
