It was obviously give and take, you could say JMM took a beating but he was delivering just as good of a beating.

That is what I would personally call being in a tough fight, and it ended in the way tough fights tend to end with one guy on his back (or in this case on his front).

      dont think so

you can count the good punches marquez landed on one hand, he had one close rd which was the 4th i believe, even in the third that he got the kd on he was getting beat up before and after the kd

pacquiao had much more volume over marquez, marquez was just the much heavier puncher

Obviously you are. Other than the fifth and sixth round all the other rounds belonged to Marquez or were very competitive. Literally nothing happened before the first kd , at least not many noteworthy punches to suggest someone was getting their @ss kicked. The fight started once Pacquiao was put down, nothing much happened for the remainder of the the 3rd round, and he came back with a vengeance in that 5th round. It was a fight where few punches were landed but they were all authoritative and efficient.

Manny didn't land as good as JMM, it was like a version of JCC Sr.-Meldrick Taylor 1, Manny threw more and landed more but all JMM's shots were designed to hurt.

Quality won over quantity that night so you should probably reassess what you watched.

                uhh, right..

anyway, to rephrase the third round point im trying to make for other people and leave this topic
"in the the third round, marquez was clearly losing before the KD, and lost the rest of the round after the KD"

Yea, so both guys had their moments in their way it certainly was not a one sided beat down where JMM landed a hail mary~

You were the one that didn't agree with my original point that both had their moments. I laid it out for you and you even said it, and that is not a one sided fight at all.

It was give and take for both of them.
