I would make an argument that Marquez stood toe to toe in all of the fights. He didn't do much moving in any of the fourComment

This is as ridiculous a thread as I've seen on this forum, obvious troll threads aside. Honestly, it just looks like there are people who're somehow upset that Pacquiao doesn't get shat on enough for getting knocked out and are furious that he gets any credit at all.
The argument that Marquez' win is somehow diminished by acknowledging he was getting caught a lot is incredibly weak. Is Arguello's legendary knockout of Olivares diminished by the fact that he was getting battered in the rounds before it happened? Is it fuck.
If Pacquiao getting ktfo out isn't enough for you, then you need to take some action before your obsession with him becomes a full blown mental illness.Comment

Marquez is the biggest hypejob of this generation, just struck gold by being stylistically bad for Pacquiao (a counter puncher who takes one to give one, not many else will exchange with Pac).
Who else has this guy beat? He lost to Chris Jon LOL and got planted on his ass by that Greek dude.
His defense is ****, he's flat footed, now his legs are shot to pieces but he's got good power and was a good combination puncher in his day..
He's about to get humiliated by Alvarado and then cry that he was robbed again

Thank you. Concise and accurate as usual.
What I saw was a helluva fight through 5 and a half rounds.
Actually, if they had both stayed awake through 10 or 12, it might have compared favorably to such fights as Castillo/Corrales 1, Ward/Gatti 1 and Barrera/Morales 1.Comment
