Seriously, there are some fights you can't talk about around here and this is one of them. No one wants to actually discuss it, either Pac was dominating and Marquez got lucky or Pac is **** and Marquez was never in trouble. No in between.
Pac had a good round. Hardly "beating" him up. People use that term too loosely.

Exactly! Both sides want to discredit the other by belittling the efforts by both fighters or outcome of the fight or other insinuations - and agendas aimed at protecting one side don't allow for the entire picture to be looked at.

Heredia was already working with Marquez in preparation for fight #3 but more importantly is that Fight #3 and fight #4 were different.

All the credit for the win goes to Juan! However how it happened had more to do with Manny making mistakes and Juan capitalizing more than Juan setting anything up!
Watch it and you'll see Juan shook up pretty good going to his corner then Manny in the nezt round going to a "double feint" then falling inside. When Juan reacted their right shoulders were almost touching and Juan was actually late with the punch but it wound up being "extra short" hahaha!!!
Juan deserves the win no doubt about that but to be honest if Manny doesn't faultier with amateurish aggression he would have stopped Juan.
That's boxing and that night the best man won. Their match ups were terrific.
So much better than Mayweather or Ward or anyone since a primed Mosely.
          Ray.

I guess this had nothing to do with the fight being at welterweight and Marquez adjusting to the weight??

I do have a question though. Surely this same logic applies to Pacman storming through solid welterweights with devastating results? until Floyd claimed peds. I mean the exact same thing applies, correct?

Manny has natural abilities that can take him to the WW and do what he does. Manny has power but it's really his speed that does the trick. You look at the Oscar fight, Cotto fight, Hatton fight, even the Bradley fight ..... Manny's punches come from all angles and come quicker than the opponents.
Power generated by speed in Manny's case .... but that is Manny. He did that even at the lower weights.

Cotto said "he was too fast" ... he didn't say he was too powerful .....

Like I said in the previous post, Manny has yet to KO anyone like Marquez did ..... he beat Oscar with 1000 punches .... and beat Cotto with lightning speedy hands .... then Floyd said it must be the PEDs

              .

most of the pilipinos think that...even after Marquez knocked him down earlier on the fight.
He was worst on the firs fight and we know what happened there.
