You either support it or you dont, stop playing both sides now that an "american" has a belt, Its rather pathetic.
If there is a rule that will make everybody stop doing it then I will support that rule.
But I still see a lot of guys getting away with it so it would be dumb for Stiverne to not take advantage if other boxers are going to. Is that what you want, for an "American" to be forced to unify while the Euros don't have to?
His nationality is Canadian. Canada is part of North America. That qualifies him as being from the Americas, correct? Or am I wrong?
You're really going to play this dumb game. He's not an American, its pretty simple.

Yet i've never seen you support euros doing that, or saying "why not let them do it if everyone else is". You cant play both sides just because a black fake american has a paper title, otherwise you come off as a complete biased moron
I want to see Wilder with the title, but I don't have a problem with a unification after he gets his shot. He is the mandatory after all.
Also, how long has Wlad put off Pulev?
And does anyone feel like Wlad's desperate for some more recognition and acclaim? He's got pretty much every belt but the WBC and not that many people care. I think that's why he's clamoring for stuff like unifying the WBC, and talking about going to the Olympics.

I've criticized the Euros for doing it but get told that there is money to be made and that it's healthy for the sport to have regional draws with belts blah blah blah. So my response to those posters is fine, then it's healthy for Stiverne to do it too.
What does him being black have to do with anything? This isn't a racial thing. If Arreola had won I'd be saying the same thing.
It's not that simple. Everyone knows what has been going on in the HW division in the last couple of years. Contenders (with few exceptions) have been fighting everyone but each other, padding their records and waiting for Wlad to look their way.
I believe I saw a statistic on this recently, comparing fights among top 10 contenders from different eras, and as I recall it, there was only an insignificant difference and this era was not the worst. Hence it's a myth.
Unless of course you have a statistic to back up your claim?
Now that there is a belt involved, maybe they will actually start fighting each other, and we will get to see some decent, competitive HW fights.
So you are endorsing a creation of a non-Klitschko belt. You do it to have more competitive fights. Is this a standard you'd like to have expanded to other divisions as well or is it strictly an anti-Klitschko standard?
I'm not saying Wlad should NEVER be allowed to unify. BUT it will be better for the division if he doesn't annex that belt RIGHT AWAY. Plus he has a mandatory challenger that has already waited for almost a year.
Again does this apply to all? Everybody has to fight mandos rather than unify? Is that really what you want? Or is this also only a stipulation aimed at guys named Klitschko?
I'll admit that he's not a heavyweight champion from the United States. Does that make you feel better?
He is still Canadian and thus from the Americas though.
Make me feel better? You're the one trying to claim him as an "american" to make yourself feel better

So you should be criticizing Steverne for possible doing the same, not supporting him doing the same. Again, you cant play both sides. You're doing the same thing that those "posters" are doing but then criticizing them and euro fighters. You're going full ****** lately. Calling Stervne and american and supporting paper belt holders, and not wanting them to unify with the real champ.

I have already said that I prefer unifications. In an ideal word everyone would be forced to unify.
But if certain fans are going to act like it's ok for their fighters not to then it has to be ok when others don't do it either. Why are they suddenly wanting Stiverne to cave in to Klitschko? Just because Wlad is Euro?
Where were they when Euros were the ones holding the belt hostage? Nowhere to be seen.
Make everyone adhere to the same rules and this won't be an issue.

So its ok with you that a paper title holder avoids a unification with the real champ, this is what you're saying. Its amusing how you're supporting the same thing youre criticizing. Its like saying "i dont support slavery, but other people are doing it so why not do it as well". Its ******ation 101. Almost as dumb as your "sterverne is an american argument".
