  • The WBC belt MUST be kept away from the Klitschkos

For the love of God and all things holy the WBC belt must be kept away from the Klitschkos.

    Why?

    ACTION! EXCITEMENT! RATINGS!

That's right, this weekend we actually saw an exciting HW title fight, between two evenly matched fighters and witnessed an action packed, exciting fight with the WBC title on the line. Kudos to Arreola and Stiverne for bringing it and fighting like they wanted to be a champion.

The Klitshckos have nothing but contempt for the sport and their fans. They see world title defences as a an extension of their business machine to build their empire and nothing more. They don't care about the fans. The fights are so awful to watch. K2 are happy to serve up a never-ending dirge of unentertaining, meaningless garbage fights against tomato can opponents. And then, if a worthy opponent finally manages to get a shot, Wlad will turn it into a wrestling match until he squeezes all the life out of his opponents legs. The Povekin fight was an embarrassment to boxing.

So, please WBC, stick to your guns and do not allow this belt to be unified.

So hold the belt hostage and prevent an undisputed champion?

I agree but there was a thread that already was like this one you just started.

No, not necessarily... just follow the WBC's own rules about not allowing their belt to be unified.

We have a lineal champ. There's very little to dispute.

Yep and I wholeheartedly agree with that thread. World championship HW boxing should not be in some tiny town in Switzerland or be so godawful to watch that no US network will screen it.

People do seem to forget that fact. They give an exception to Floyd Mayweather and Danny Garcia though.

Wladimir is the best heavyweight, he deserves a shot at the WBC belt. Either before or after Wilder fights for it, also Wladimir should be promoted more.

In Germany and Ukraine he's one of the most popular athletes, they could do the same in America if he was promoted right.
