lol come on man, ur normally on point, u gotta give lara some credit for coming through a hard few rounds, a slow ass angulo put him down and lara looked less than stellar but laras big heart broke angulo's. he just said "**** it".

You never noticed them?!?! I saw pics of that weigh in and that's the first thing I noticed. I was like "holy sweet Jesus." Then again I've never really seen anybody mention them. Figured I'd give them some recognition and show that ADP girl/dude Lara's skinny legs.

agreed his stock also shot up because before maidana went rough and tumble with floyd he was like the new hope for people who wanted to see floyd lose and his fans wanted see in a good fight. They thought his boxing ability and size would give mayweather more trouble then anyone else me included at times. I for one am excited for this fight it could end up being the perfect mesh of styles. Its got a chance to be a 2 part fight with canelo winning the beginning and lara the end could also go back n fourth. Where are they fighting at anyway? mgm grand?

Yeah that's also true. I am one of those people that feels he can give Mayweather some problems. Yeah MGM grand.

Neither Rigo or Lara are that special....But they are both southpaws who KNOW how to fight like Southpaws and that's why they are hard to fight/beat....I think Canelo can win if he lets his hands go, but against southpaws he always seems to just chuck 1 big punch looking for that 1 punch KO....and not throw combinations like he usually does.

Both have a chance, maybe Lara can make some adjustments, with the physical tools he possesses it's quite surprising that he hasn't fixed some of those holes after Molina. Despite all that he does have a good shot but I ain't picking him, I think Canelo will counter that measuring jab or catch him when he brings it back low, I think he'll do decently well in the center of the ring and I think he'll break through the middle as Lara goes into a shell. Just some of the things I see.

Molina is a far more busier fighter than Canelo; who slid in and out against Lara. Alvarez is a very methodical fighter; that might play into the hands of Lara.

Also, with him being noticeably slower on his feet than Lara, I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo got thoroughly outboxed.

He looked bad in the Hernandez and Molina fights too. He's looked pretty average in most of his high profile fights on average, than he has amazing.

It's because a lot of people think he has a chance against Mayweather, people want to see Mayweather lose so bad they will hype anyone up to be a boogey man.

He brings his A game against top level opposition. He beat Trout more convincingly than anyone else. He also beat Paul Williams.

Why shouldn't Floyd fight Lara? If Lara beats Canelo and Floyd fought Canelo, then it makes sense that he fights Lara.

We'll soon see whether he's a hypejob or not. He's been dying to get this fight. Here it is. I expect nothing more than a decisive win.
