Man, I can't believe all the dislike for arreola on this thread..

Look, he isn't an elite fighter, but he comes to fight, never really makes excuses when beaten, takes all comers, and is just a good honest fighter that really tries and win every fight....
Sure, he has his flaws, but I wish there was more guys with arreolla's heart, guts, and attitude

so what? the guy comes to fight at 239 or 255. he is one dimensional & good for the division. maybe all he will be is a gatekeeper but he is always in exciting fights. you want to get to the top you got to go thru guys like arreola first. you telling me that wasn't a good fight? stiverne beat him twice. adamek & klitschko beat him too. it's not like he's losing to journeymen. so he isn't elite but he is a solid B level guy. a perfect gatekeeper who is 33 & got a few years left. mccline got 4 title shots, golota got 4 title shots, barrett got 2 title shots, Bruno got 4 title shots until he finally won. he is a tough guy but he is what he is. he will never be elite but he is a tough SOB & would give any HW a tough fight. I don't care if he has a gut. it's not like that is unusual for the HW division. I been around a long time to know he ain't going anywhere yet.

totally agree with you. guys on this site just wait til a guy loses before they crap all over him. if he wins they would all be on his knob... bandwagon jumpers...so what if he is undisciplined? he puts on a good show. it didn't make a difference tonight that he was in better shape did it? maybe with extra 20lbs he absorbs those shots better...

Arreola is a delusional arrogant coward and I'm glad he got his a$$ beat.

Adamek was still a good fighter when he beat arreolla.. I think adamek fought as best he could vs vitali and he was simply outgunned.. Since then adamek has become a shell of himself..

"never makes excuses after fights "....really? Never? Not like tonight when he said he broke his hand in the 4th round? Or when he says (like after every loss" ) he's going to stay off cervesa ?

The guy is a living, walking excuse. Bottom line is he is not championship material ...nothing shameful about that but please no more big fights for Arreola...he's wasting our time as well as his time.

Ok, valid points, but he usually always gives credit to the opponent and is nowhere near as bad as making excuses as other fighters ie socks, cramps, toe,

                  But I see your point

uh no. he's never been good at heavyweight. he went life and death with michael greant, nearly lost to jason estrada and this was before the vitali fight. the only win that put adamek on the map was arreola but arreola has never beaten anyone good himself. its like ortiz beating berto. one hype beating the other hype does not equal good fighter.

Lol,,, good point, can't argue against that but I will say that adamek isn't terrible, maybe not elite heavy but not terrible...
