No way. Nope. He can answer any old question in the media with bravado like he has in the media for a decade, but he won't come close to the middleweight division.

Martinez is going to whoop Cotto by the way. Remember Martinez calling these guys out years ago? Disgraceful cherrypicking divas today.

I'm a Manny fan but I have to say that belt he won from Margarito was completely bogus

Canelo is 24, Sergio is almost 40.

Older fighters killing themselves to make weight never, ever ends well. Sergio has been a full middleweight for several years.

He should leave that to CW queen Floyd, as she had a much more competitive fight with Cotto

It would be crazy to see this fight manifest. I'm almost 100% positive Martinez beats Cotto, but what would the CW be at? 155?

Sugar Ray Leonard made Lalonde weigh in at 168 despite Lalonde being the LHW champion only so Leonard could win the vacant SMW and Lalonde's LHW title.

                    Ridiculous!

I think this is nothing but falsehood and somebody's fantasy.

Pac can barely maintain weight at 147 and only gains a few pounds after re-hydration. How can he ever get up to 160?

I don't even think that he belongs at welterweight. At most, Pac should be at light welterweight. He has looked sluggish and except for Cotto, he hasn't stopped anybody at this weight class.

A fighter's optimal weight should be where he can re-hydrate comfortably and be 5-10% higher than the maximum weight limit. Currently, Pacquaio is re-hydrating at only 2% higher than the welterweight limit, which means that his average opponent is outweighing him by 10-12 pounds!

C'mon people, this dude is barely 5'5". How can his little frame get up to 160? He's only human. Sergio Martinez is 5'10". Assuming that Pac can even make the weight, Sergio will probably outweigh him by at least 20 pounds after re-hydration. The last time I checked, Pac wasn't wearing a cape and did not have the letter 'S' on his chest.

Sergio destroys Cotto and then tucks Manny in for nap time before he rides off into the sunset as one of the greatest of all time.
