Dont get me wrong I think that pac fans can be way over the top too but floyd fans are in a class of their own.

The same holds true for PAC fans.

Floyd will be remembered as one of the greatest fights of all time. Only short-sighted Pac fans will say he cherry picked.

For instance, in your opinion, besides PAC, who could Floyd fight next that wouldn't be considered a cherry pick? Porter, Alexander, Canelo, Thurman, Lara, Danny Garcia and anyone else would be a cherry pick, right? I left out Khan because that would be a cherry pick.

I will agree that both Manny and Floyd caused the fight not to made. However, I don't think it was because either was afraid of the other.

The funny thing is, the Floyd/Pac fight is more possible now because Floyd looks vulnerable. Pac fans are saying Floyd's ducking Pac once again, but after JMM put Pac to sleep that talk disappeared; now it's back.

In fact, after Pac was KO'ed by JMM, some people were saying Floyd would "cherry pick" Pac because Pac looked vulnerable.

50 cent had no official role in Mayweather's camp, he wasn't even present during the negotiations. He also has reason to be bitter towards Mayweather for refusing to ditch Al Haymon and join his promotional company.

Roach on the other hand is a central figure in Pac's camp, he was present during negotiations and he has no reason to have any animosity towards Pacquiao.

                He's right.

Maidana's weird punch technique and brawling on the inside allowed some success, helped out by being 165lbs in the ring. Manny fights pretty conventional and on the outside, and he is smaller...it's a fight with no valid comparison. Mayweather wins that fight, be it 2009 or 2018.

Lara would of been a much better opponent for floyd then Maidana, I predicted Maidana to be too slow for floyd but it turned out that floyd wasnt good enough to take advantage of that.

Pac has a style where it will deterorate much faster with age then floyd's so that is why everyone was saying it would be easy pickings for floyd but after the maidana fight people have started to have their doubts about floyd as well.

All the fanboys will discredit wins but it is a clear fact that pac beating the #3 p4p bradley is a much better win then floyd beating a unrated maidana.

This is the beauty [and folly] of the sports' specters...we can all make educated and rational guesses based on "facts" [and experience to many] and what we see but this is why the sport is great because there's a lot of unpredictability factors.

What we can't see are the minutae and impromptu actions and reactions by both fighters. ANY PUNCH is always a possible harbinger of death for the other...any punch. We've seen that with Marquez on the brink of seemingly in Pac's favor and inevitability only to be hit with a well-timed and precise right cross.

While I am not talking about a one punch per se and in its literalness, both fighters also have great capabilities to "follow up" and go for the kill. Well, more so with Pacquiao's style while Mayweather doesn't skimp on his combos either.

Now both in their not-so-ideal status - slower, older and less power behind their fists, their weaknesses are now more magnified. More than ever.

It still has to happen - for closures' sakes. Even in their "old" form and their "last hurrahs", an epic fight can happen or could be a thud.

Sooooo Pac Fans think Pac will be successful with that superman punching style he has?
Pac has the same flaws he has had since he started boxing....he jumps at fighters to land that 1-2 right left....maybe because he is always out of reach but it is a bad flaw to have against a guy with laser precision STRAIGHT RIGHT
