This fool thinks he can only fight ppv caliber fights now???? Smh 1 fight at lhw or no fights at 168?? Chavez is about to be gone real soon. GGG is not going to fight him for the same reason you don't wanna fight Kovalev. GGG was willing to move up to 168 for a ppv fight vs Chavez and that's because he's a draw and Ward is not. Lol ****** but it's the truth. Andre is boring anyway so I don't even care if he doesn't fight any time soon. He's actually the beat commentator HBO has so I think he should stick to that.

They haven't fought anyone but no one says that they havie stellar resumes. They just say GGG and kovelev are being ducked by the best fighters in their divisions. Sergio and Stevenson. Those are facts. Now as for Ward being boring, yes I think he's boring. I don't watch Ward and say omg this guy is exciting. His last fight with Rodriguez was garbage. Only time I ever liked a fight of his was when he beat up that stick figure smw Dawson. Other than that Ward is boring to me.

Look back at his fight with Edwin Rodriguez. Now I'm not criticizing the fact he fought Edwin Rodriguez, but I am criticizing how he fought him. After about 5 rounds, you could see that Edwin was in way over his head. You could see immediately that Ward was an A+ caliber fighter while Edwin was a C- fighter.
Yet Ward having all those advantages didn't attempt to close the show, wasn't willing to pull the trigger, excite the fans and attempt to get a KO. Nope, he was content with punching here & there, clinching, another right hand here, moving on to the next round, collecting the points and getting a decision victory.

That is what makes people frustrated, that is why many people aren't willing to tune in to watch him fight, and why many don't care if he comes back.

Doesn't want to move up for one fight, criticizes others for the same thing

Argues that kovalev is network and not PPV so it's not worth it, same situation with ggg.

Andre Ward is a prima donna, he demands everything his own way.

He's extremely selfish and disrespectful towards others for someone who claims to be a Christian and the "Son of God". After all, the most fundamental belief of Christianity is 'do onto others as you would have them do onto you'.

I don't believe Ward is a PPV star!! Neither is Kolav or Stevenson unless they fight each other! If you have Ward, Stevenson, Hopkins and Kolav fight each other on one PPV then have the losers fight each other for future challenges. The winners fight each other, then parlay GGG with Sergio you will have three very good PPV. None of these young men are stars on their own!!!

Even Mayweather needed more than himself on his show and using Khan with Broner was a very smart move! Mayweather with Pacman is the ONLY match up that could stand alone on a PPV!

I don't think Ward has the same interest in the sport he once had!
He would be a very good commentator, I think he's looking for a safer gig!

i understand that you all hate to see your favorite fighter shelved like this, but surely you have to understand that it's not king andre ward who is responsible for the inactivity.



when the king fights on HBO, it's against a no hoper for 2.1 million. you want him to fight golovkin and kovalev? fine. pay us $75 to watch the fight.
