Froch is already twice the fighter Calslappy was and Froch's resume already shyts on Calslappy's

Its a myth that he did not face good opponents, he has better wins that Carl Froch across the board!

      Over proven fighters!
This! People tend to forget Calzaghe effectively cleared out a division.

There was no one as good as Ward then but Kessler, primed and ready is a top 10 all time SMW and close to Ward in his aura at the time as a legitimate threat in the division. Calzaghe beat him in a terrific fight, what more can you want? Not to mention he beat guys like Bika who are still relevant to think day. Calzaghe doesn't have the quality that Froch does but he has the quantity, contender after contender and some title holders too.

Like I've already, resume isn't the only thing needed in rating guys if it was the case, then Foreman would be ranked higher than the likes of Louis in heavyweight lists.

Froch won't ever be good as Calzaghe because he wouldn't have ever beaten him in the ring.

But fight for fight he does have the better resume... saying that Froch struggled against Kessler whereas Calzaghe won pretty well.

I would argue Hopkins even when Calzaghe fought him, was close to Ward.

And Froch lost handily to Ward, wasn't close. Joe was clearly the better, more versatile fighter, Frochs total resume is probably better in all honesty. But I don't think Froch would have beaten Hopkins or Kessler (at that age).

Calzaghe struggled with Hopkins whereas Taylor won pretty well.

            Styles make fights.

He also only fought 3 fighters who were ranked in the Top 5 when he fought them, so there's that.

How does Calzaghe have the quantity?

He beat barely any top ranked guys.

Froch fought against a prime Kessler & dropped a very close decision, let's be honest the first fight could have gone either way. The Kessler that Calzaghe beat up was green as hell.

i had froch winning the first fight. calzaghe's era was pure trash. first of all he barely fought anyone in it and second of all the guys that were in it sucked! lacy wouldn't even be ranked if he was around. a guy like manfredo was ranked so that should tell you how great the division was.

Yup, and as well as not fighting anyone, the fights he did have were all in Wales.

Compare that to a warrior like Froch who had to face the likes of Kessler, Taylor, Abraham and Ward in their backyards....
