He's had a solid career. I've had the pleasure attending most of his biggest fights and meeting him in person a couple times. It's been a pleasure following Mikkel's career.

Good luck with anything you do outside boxing, Mikkel.

Eb.dk today also writes that the pressconference is about continuation.
Cool (if true). If Froch beats Groves (DeGale/Chavez in Autumn), the third installment makes sense for next Spring if Kessler can get a good win or two in.

I'm going to the crown plaza tomorrow, so it should be good.
He will continue. I'm as sure as can be (unfortunately).

Please post some pics from the Crown Plaza when you get back mate.

Kessler has an option on Froch, so if Froch beats Groves look for the rubber match. If Groves wins, well it makes perfect sense to make a Groves-Kessler fight.

Ward is too expensive and is out of the picture from what I gather.

            In the Autumn?

Who are you picking in the Froch-Groves rematch?

              Yes. In the autumn.

I'm on the fence ATM for Groves-Froch. I watched it again prior to Floyd-Maidana on saturday. A fantastic fight.

The thing with Froch, is that to me he looked worn out in the Johnson and Ward fights but he made a remarkable recovery against Bute and Kessler. I am generally thinking that his unrivalled schedule is bound to catch up with him sooner rather than later. I will make my pick after the weigh-in!

I think both Kessler and Froch beat Groves. Their chin can take it over 12 rounds, I don't think Groves's can. Even DeGale hurt him a couple of times imo.

Ward and Kessler could be at the fight together, will be interesting to see if they meet and discuss a rematch.

Kessler has stated to Danish media that in case of a return, he wants to fight only big names like Froch, Groves, Andre Ward or Gennady Golovkin. He will most probably return in late October or in November. Jimmy Montoya has already agreed to come to Denmark and pick up training again.

                  Good news!

Ha. Well they could discuss Ward's contract dispute.

Kessler went through a similar pattern when he left Mogens Palle for Sauerland. Kessler had some top notch lawyer to go with the financial backing from sauerland. Maybe Kessler can offer some advice.

As much as I dislike Ward's fighting style and reluctance to fight abroad, I still find it a shame that he is sitting on the shelf.

Golovkin would be a massive fight but not one that I think Kessler should take at this point. It would be a cerebral beatdown and I don't want that to happen to him.
