Maidana gave a spirited performance, and with that, deserves a second big pay day. Bring on the rematch or him against Pac. Give him someone where he can get a another huge payday. This man deserves it. This is one of the rare time I heard a fighter say I will give it my all and gone ahead and do just that. Props to Maidana. Floyd looked a little off, maybe it was due to Maidana or something else, I won't speculate. Maidana did bring it. Floyd is just that good that having close fight equals a lost for him.Comment

I saw your post as being credible and honest until you made assumptions that Pacquiao and Marquez would beat him. Marquez had said (many times) that no rematch was needed with Floyd because it was just a bad style matchup for him and it wouldnt matter what weight class it was, so it seems you have more faith in Marquez than he has in himself.I think he lost to Castillo in their first fight and last night's fight was a draw, because while it is true that Mayweather landed the cleaner face shots, he was pillow-fisted compared to Maidana, who really rocked Floyd when he was able to catch him clean, specially on the ropes. Just look at Maidana's and Floyd's faces after the fight: Maidana looked like he didn't even come to fight, while Mayweather did show signs of being hit hard a few times. Also Maidana was the aggressor all night and that's a point in his favor, they both threw cheap shots when they could, but AS USUAL, Mayweather initiated the clinches 99% of the time. He did his usual excessive clinching every time he was in danger of being hit hard by Maidana and, as usual, the referee protected him, never even warned him about his blatant clinching, which deserved deduction of points if judges were fair and not protective of the big $$$ boxing names.
Most boxing experts, even many Americans, agree that he lost to Castillo in their first fight. Compubox numbers overwhelmingly favor Castillo, both in quantity and accuracy percentage. Castillo was the champ and the aggressor during all their fight. So Floyd should really be 44-1-1 and if he had fought Pacquiao at his best, a few years ago, and Marquez in his natural weight division at that time (lightweight not a blown-up welterweight), then he would be 44-3-1.Comment

Um my post was directed at him, not you since you clearly dont understand.. Im basically asking him what does last night have to do with him not defending the first Castillo fight anymore as he stated.Comment

Thats fair. I was young when I saw that fight but I believed it could have gone either way. The only people who are obsessed with Mayweathers 0 is his haters which is ironic. I would and could accept a Mayweather loss at any point of his career and be perfectly fine with it as a fan of his.Comment

Umm you clearly need to understand that you put me in my place and that I dont have a credible comebackComment
