The "a side" doesn't choose the opponents gloves. They used to choose the opponents gloves when both fighters had to wear the same gloves which is no longer the case.

The glove issue is a non-issue, the low blows, that's a different story. I was surprised Tony Weeks allowed the rough tactics as much as he did. Still was an awesome fight, and a rematch is well deserved.

Floyd cherry picked the opponent so the least he could do was let Maidana cherry pick the gloves.

That's why I don't take none of you guys seriously because everything is always one way. Floyd gets ridiculed for taking dude glove away because the first glove was not legit. It's Maidana's fault because if anything Garcia should have known better because he fought before and on top of that, you can tell Maidana plan was to rough Floyd up and hurt him bad for a win because of how he fought, so I'm more than sure that they tried to pull a Resto Margarito.
no JACKASS they had nothing to do with the gloves they didn't bring them in IT WAS EVERLAST THE FIGHTER OR THE TRAINER NEVER SEE THE GLOVES INTO FIGHT NIGHT or a day befor the fight . They are handle by the boxing commission .JUST SHUT YOUR MOUTH YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT YOU DAM CLOWN

should've, probably got a brown envelope to agree before the fight.

The gloves were an issue and continue to be. Floyd dug in some usual tasty elbows and forearm smashes in there as well which is why Tony Weeks let Chino get away with shít. So do me a favour and stop crying about dirty fighting when floyd is a more accomplished fighter in the use of dirty tactics as well as hitting a few south of the border himself! Tony did an excellent job of being fair to both fighters.
Floyd overruled the commission about the gloves then complains about the referee after the fight?!! This is bull****!!

                Floyd is a genius

thats why he made maidana use pillow gloves, otherwise he would have been ko'd in about 4 rounds. maidana did enough damage as it is, imagine if he was actually able to use his own gloves.

but give floyd credit - he has good foresight. thats why he also ducked pac and margarito since he knows they both KO him within 3 rounds as well.

Floyd is a genius, he knows how to protect that 0 better than anyone else, whether it be ducking or cherry picking or choosing his opponents' gloves.

So what you're really saying is, that Bernard Hopkins should have taken the ped tests when Pascal asked him?

So then you agree, Bernard ducked the tests.
