This was unnecessary by floyd. The red gloves were approved and he still needed an advantage. Disappointed in the champ for stooping to this level of desperation. You were already 18-1 favorite.
It's sad he even lost 5 rounds. I thought he lost 6.

Its like wit pac- his reasons change evry month( steroid testing, im on vacation, purse split, avenge losses to JMM and Bradley, Arums involvemt).
This , like Pac negitiations and catchwt issues is just one more b**** move from a fighter who is an ATG but doesnt always act it

Don't pull that weasel ****, lmao. You fake Floyd critics look like an asses. Floyd should pick the gloves, size of the ring, come out last..and if Maidana wants to be the man, BEAT the man. Brought his own gloves, lmmfao.
I'm glad Floyd exposed the armchair too. Never fought in your life lmao saying, "Yeah" lol.:

If it was in the contract, it would have been a Sh$tty move but at least it was in writing. This was NOT the case here. This was not right, no matter who you are a fan of.

Maidana really had no choice.
And lol at anyone comparing demands in a contract to doing it hours before a fight. It's completely different especially in a sport where the littlest thing can have a drastic effect on a fighter mentally or physically.

People saying it doesn't matter whether it was specified in the contract or not are wrong. If Floyd had mentioned his glove position when they were debating the conditions for the fight, Maidana could have decided whether to go ahead with the fight or not with a level head. By springing it on him at the last moment Floyd's team were almost ensuring Maidana had no say in the matter. If Maidana had cancelled the fight when Floyd made a last-minute issue of the gloves, the last few months of Maidana's career and life would have been a total waste of time - all that training and preparation for nothing.
This was undoubtedly a very dirty move.
