The commission said fine they have other pairs, Floyd said no they didn't want them using everlast horse hair gloves.

there was no cheating, Maidana and garcia were not suspended or fined, there is no investigation.

Maidana being a peoples champ said fine he will fight with those padded gloves because he felt bad for the fans while Floyd said *** the fans my health comes first even though the fans are paying him and paying his checks, ppv and ticket sales comes from fan money.

Why do people reach and make up lies there was no tamper or cheating of gloves it was just Floyd throwing a whine fest crying again in fear.
what do you, yourself think of the blue ones? once again im not the one making a big deal of it, you all are and all im saying is the guy brought gloves that were not approved and looked like baby diapers... the rest is floyd being a biyyatch and doing whatever he did

Now only your fan can believe you didn't fight Pacquiao because drug test, then money PPV,then ARUM,and then the next excuse wil be THE CLETO REYES GLOVES;OMG begins to be embarassing to listen to your words!!!
What you sir can learn from this precedent...

Is that if FMJ wants something to be done he is serious about it!!!
After Chino did what was asked from him... the fight happened 100%!!!
So now Pacman knows what to do and what will be the outcome if he just listens :-)

There is some sort of a precedent now :-)

        • This guy is such a hypocrite/ contradiction of himself it is unbelievable. You wanna go toe to toe "for the fans" but you're worried about MM wearing certain gloves?

He just says what suits him best at the time. He probably can't even recall all of the demands he made for the Manny fight if you asked him to.

He could have made the fight easy if he wanted?? LMAO, how many of you Floyd nut-jockies ate that one up?

The difference is...the fight was signed, sealed and delivered before this happened.

Maidana's camp should have told Floyd to **** himself and they're going to wear what the commission already approved.

Mayweather as usual ducked the question and started picking on some guy in the crowd because he was Argentinian. Typical deflection from Floyd.

You're right it should have been in the contract. So maybe FMJ slipped up on that one. Maybe FMJ was legally in the wrong, but it is always better to raise an issue before the match than whine about it afterwards.

In the end it just shows how poorly the media is when it comes to these things. I would have liked the media to have spoken interviewed the commission. I havent seen an interview where the commission said who was in the right and for what reason etc.

I still dont know what was wrong with the blue gloves. Did the commission agree that the blue gloves that FMJ was testing shouldnt be allowed? In the future will the blue gloves be alowed in pro fights? are gloves with horse hairs gonna banned in future fights? why were there so few people testing the gloves that maidana was about to wear? I would have loved to have neutral people/pro boxer give their oppinion on the exact same glove that FMJ's camp had a problem with and if they feel that there should be changes in the future about what gloves are legal and which not.

I've heard a lot of layman talk who didnt test the glove FMJ tested, unfortunately no independant experts was asked on the matter. Glove gate was one of the most interresting topics to cover and journalists on site hardly did any effort...crazi IMO.

The interview was painful to watch.

Him and Adrien Broner should have a morning radio show about health. Broner is just as bad of a speaker.

what difference does it really make though seeing as they refused 10 pairs of other gloves?

                    I hear ya!!

You've got some good points there is no denying that!!! especially on the legal side of things. In the end i would say blame the media. They didnt cover the story as it should have been covered. I heard at a certain time that the commission wasnt alowing a certain glove...
If this is true than FMJ, isnt entirely in the wong. Because the commision agreed with him, that there was an issue with atleast a certain glove. So FMJ's claim holds some legallity in the end if that is the claim. Why wouldnt he raise an issue if he thinks that issue is relevant. In the end the commission had to make the claim IMO. Untill now i havent heard of any spokesman from the commission...
What are these media people doing honestly?!

                    • Since it wasn't in the contract then they should never have been able to force Maidana to wear whatever he was forced to wear, that is bullying and BS.
