So why did the commission agree with Mayweather? The gloves must have been tampered with. That's the only thing it can be because how can the gloves be the same when one set was considered illegal?
Why did the commission, who's state sought to profit millions of dollars of revenue from the fight, hotels, casinos, restaurants, flights, shopping, agree with the b1tch boy who was threatening to pull out of the fight?

The commission already agreed that the custom made gloves had little padding and told Maidana that he can't wear them! but they approved another gloves, the second gloves that was approved was then rejected by Team Mayweather. There was nothing in the contract that prevent Maidana from wearing that gloves so he should never have given in to Mayweather.
If this is true ...IF
than mayweather is in the wrong regarding the other gloves that were aproved. Smart move by FMJ if that is true, not very fair towards CHINO. But hey these things happen if you're the B-side and your team is weak.
I still would have loved to hear a commisionar speak on the matter, there arent many good sources out there...
What specifically was wrong with the glove? You can put it on and determine from the feel that the glove is acceptable or not?
Isn't there QC requirements at the manufacturer? Isn't there a way to measure or test the glove to determine if it passes?
From what I read, the custom made gloves that Maidana was going to wear had less padding than the normal ones that they make. The commission then inspect those gloves and they agreed that it had less padding.
But they approve another set but Team Mayweather still disagree with that one too and said the fight was off.

Well when you are a name you can bully people into doing what you want them to do.

I have no idea...
You are insinuating a lot here... If FMJ is a A-side bully who even has power to make a commission do stuff they shouldnt be doing, than what the heck were the media doing over there??? trying to get autographs instead of getiing to the bottom of this? I'm sure ellie seckback will cover this topic in some time but even if he does i dont think Garcia camp is unbiased.
Are there precedents that the commission can be influenced?? I thought they just had a new commision in Las vegas. I also heared but i could be wrong that the new guy in charge of the commission was a former fbi dude or something but ones again i could be wrong
NAC***8194;467.427***8194;***8194;Requirements for gloves. (NRS 467.030)***8194;
***8194;The gloves used in a contest or exhibition must meet the following requirements:
1.***8194;***8194;The gloves must be examined by the representative of the Commission and the referee. If padding in any glove is found to be misplaced or lumpy or if any glove is found to be imperfect, the glove must be changed before the contest or exhibition starts. No breaking, roughing or twisting of gloves is permitted.
2.***8194;***8194;The gloves for every contest or exhibition that is designated as a main event must be new, furnished by the promoter and made to fit the hands of the unarmed combatant.
3.***8194;***8194;If the gloves to be used in preliminary contests or exhibitions have been used before, they must be whole, clean and in sanitary condition. The gloves are subject to inspection by the referee or representative of the Commission. If a glove is found to be unfit, it must be replaced with a glove that meets the requirements of this section.
4.***8194;***8194;Each promoter must have an extra set of gloves of the appropriate weight available to be used in case a glove is broken or otherwise damaged during the course of a contest or exhibition.
5.***8194;***8194;For contests or exhibitions of boxing and kickboxing, each unarmed combatant must wear gloves which weigh not less than 8 ounces and not more than 10 ounces, except that the Commission will set the weight of the gloves to be used in a championship contest. All gloves must have the distal portion of the thumb attached to the body of the glove so as to minimize the possibility of injury to an opponent’s eye.
6.***8194;***8194;For contests or exhibitions of mixed martial arts, each unarmed combatant must wear gloves that weigh not less than 4 ounces and not more than 8 ounces.
Not much here, but one thing that I find is interesting is the promoter is to provide the gloves. Shouldn't a world class promotional outfit such as GBP recognize a defective glove upon receiving them to provide to one of its main event fighters?
