Floyd is just a clown, a joke. Who can still take that guy serious? Maybe if you're mentally handicapped or on his payroll like his so called "friends". He ain't got no real friends, Floyd doesnt even know what friendship means. Him and Haymon should just ****ing leave the sport.

First he says that De La Hoya got the choose the gloves...Ummmm they fought at 154 pounds and 10 oz. gloves are generally used at that weight. De La Hoya didn't tell him which brand to wear or anything...they both wore the same size gloves.

Ironically, Mayweather is complaining about 10 oz. gloves but was complaining about Maidana wearing gloves with less padding in the knuckle area lol.

Maidana was still wearing 8 oz. gloves just the weight is not focused as much in the knuckle area.

I say the NSAC should decide if the gloves are permitted if they permitted them for Broner why not for Mayweather.

But my main issue with Mayweather is that he wouldn't even let Maidana wear Cleto Reyes gloves LOL. The "Pacquiao gloves." From watching Mayweather clinch, use forearms and hang on the ropes most of the fight...he's lucky Maidana had on the Everlast Pillow XP edition lol.
Nah. Oscar had him wearing 10 oz gloves for a higher weight class. So his gloves were bigger than Oscars.

Oscar was no fool, he wisely took every advantage he could, and I don't really blame him.

Nice try Floyd, but when you fought oscar rules were fighters had to wear the same gloves, since then rules have changed, and fighters can wear any gloves the want so long as they are approved by the commission.

You did it dirty, just fess up to it, and stop complaining about health first health first. You so worried about your health, you in the wrong business.

The gloves didn't determine the outcome of the fight. Maidana put up a hell of a fight. But now are we going to say the reason he lost was because he didn't use the gloves with less padding?

Yeah just like the catchweight didn't......so why does Mayweather give people these reasons to discredit him?

There wasn't anything in Maidana's contract that gave Team Mayweather the right to approve his gloves before the fight?

I would think so. If not he would have just showed up in the ring with the pair that the NSAC approved would he not?

Floyd's team threatened to pull out of the fight and with Maidana's teams lack of experience in these big fights, they thought that Floyd would actually do it. The reality is they would have been sued for millions of dollars had they pulled out of the fight but Garcia and the rest of the camp are not lawyers.
