How many PPV's does it take to make Floyd-Maidana a success?

Why do you guys feel the need to bring Pacquiao into this conversation?no ones even bashing your man crush only saying what shotime released about his required numbers...Bob Arum pays little to nothing in promotionComment

Espinoza never said that.
In the history of PPV there have only been about 5 fights that do over 1.5 Million buys but now SHO is going to sign on a contract where every fight has to do that or lose money? That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, I can't believe so many of you are eating it up.
Tim Smith doesn't know what he's talking about.Comment

what does it matter about our personal opinions? it doesn't affect us + or - at all.
But with showtime, i think they need 1.5mil ppv buys per floyd fight for their investment to have been worthwhile. Guerrero and Maidana fights have let them down, even with very good undercards. canelo is holding them afloat tbh.Comment

ya but the thing everyone is ignoring is that this deal was more or less to have showtime pass hbo as the #1 boxing platform. They knew they were over paying floyd even tho with the canelo fight they are ahead still. Hes basically being paid to be the ambassador of showtime boxing and its working. When floyd leaves unless something major takes place they will be far ahead because of it even if they lose money.Comment
