850-1m at $70 a pop would do. If you factor in international revenue I don't think anyone will be complaining after it.

        b#llsh#t!Mayweather-Ortiz made 1.25 mln and Floyd got 40 mln (25 guaranteed + 15 bonus)
When Mayweather-Cotto made 1.5 it was huge success, both paid bonus.Floyd got 45 mln Cotto ~10-12 (their guarranteed purses were 32 and 8).Guaranteed purse for may 3 only 35 mln.

1.5 x 60$ = 90mil not counting ads sold, gate and other revenue streams. SIMPLE ARITHMETIC now if Floyd gets 32mil Chino gets 1.5mil thats 33.5 hell all the other fighters combined arent gonna come to a 50mil TOTAL so im sure they are doing good. Stay away from business. and get in a MATH CLASS!

I think with floyd's huge guarantee, it needs to do about 1.2 million for the break even point...

If this does a million plus buys i will be impressed.. I think it will just fall short of 1 mil..

Higher than the ghost fight, but not quite jmm numbers, probably close to the hatton numbers...

                  Lets see...

Mayweather $32 Million - Maidana $1.5 Million - Rest of the undercards lets say $4 Million.

                  That's about $37.5 Million.

1 Million PPV buys = $35 Million when the cable company gets half.

Gate will be over $15 Million but lets say $15.

                  Sponsors a couple million.

Closed circuit TV another couple million with the movie theaters.

International TV rights has to be some more big coin.

That's already around $55 Million in the pot.

If it's true that SHO needs to sell 1.5 Milllion buys to break even for a $37 million dollar purse.

How can Manny vs. Bradley sell 650k with that card having a $26 Million guarantee purse and the gate was around $7 Million?

They will be fine with anything over 900k-1 Million.

                    Apparently it's at least 1.5M, Nelson - http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=637434

                      Mayweather - 32
                      Maidana - 1.5
                      Khan - 1.5
                      = 35 million

                      Pacquiao - 20
                      Bradley - 6
                      = 26

If Mayweather-Maidana needs 1.5 mil to break even then Pacquiao-Bradley 2 must have lost money by the same calculations selling under 800k.
