Actually, take a look at your predictions and analysis and you will see, you're one of those who are consistent in getting it wrong. lol!

Chavez got beat by a lot of non-elite fighters. This is another ****** analysis which borders on idiocy.

CHavez prime has a ****ty jab.

Chavez prime doesn't have lightning handspeed, KO power yes, but not the handspeed.

Chavez prime's footspeed is slow as a prick.

Now tell me Morancito, how the hell can that qualifications ever beat a top pedigree like Floyd? lol!

Morancito, you are really consistent in posting inconsistent reasoning.
Dude do you even know what "prime" means? In boxing terms, when a given fighter is in his prime, it means he's in the absolute top of his abilities and fighting at the weight he's more suited to.

In his prime (from Mayweather I to Camacho) Chavez lost to no one and was the consensus no 1 p4p fighter in the world.

Your "analisys", if those ******ities you write can be called that, is fundamentally ******ed. JCC didn't need excellent handspeed or footspeed, because his game wasn't based on that. He cut off the ring like no one, he was one of the best body punchers ever, he had a superb chin, and he was relentless. He wore you down, much like Castillo only 10 times better.

I could tell you that Mayweather is an average body puncher at best, doesn't cut off the ring, and has average power. That doesn't mean anything, because Floyd's game is not based in any of those attributes. He's a great fighter in his own style, just like JCC was a great fighter in his.

Your credibility, if you ever had any, hit zero the day you said Pacquiao was p4p better than Duran. Yet you keep on writing dumbass post after dumbass post. Go learn some boxing and then come back here.

I think a lot of what I am reading here is sf:

who compared floyd to his uncle is off the mark...
who said chavez had the wrong style is plain crazy...
who said floyd would stop chavez needs a reality check...

this would be a close fight:
chavez has THE style to beat mayweather, like he did have the style to beat whitaker. he was not a bully/slugger type he was one of the smartest pressure fighters to enter the ring and that's what does it against GREAT boxers, not being george foreman or julian jackson.

(I would also throw in that chavez was an amazing inside fighter)

is floyd as good as pea? we don't know yet cos he's never been tested at 140-147, hopefully we will see pretty soon

based on the available data I take chavez, until floyd fights hatton, cotto,

or castillo again and manages to put on a show against jlc

        oh one more thing

I am not comparing cotto or hatton to chavez, I just name them as leading 140-147 fighters

Exactly. JLC is essentially a poor man's Chavez. Floyd got, at best, a draw against him in his first fight. I just don't see how Chavez would NOT beat him at 140 or below.

its not so hard to imagine how floyd would win, fight the fight that pea fought: floyd would take his bicycle. I think that the 2nd castillo fight is a very good indicator of what floyd would try to do.

I think that to say something about this fight we really need to see floyd fighting bigger good men, not because jc was particularly bigger than floyd, bu because there is no one like jc around now

the best test would be hatton: he is very good at cutting the ring, has heavy hands and goes consistently to the body, and has a damn good chin, what he does not have is chavez infighting, but he is definitely bigger and has faster feet and hands.
if they fight (and hatton keeps on performing in the meantime well showing that it was not zoo's age but his merit), and floyd wins I would start favoring floyd against a lot of ppl at135.

of course floyd should also take on judah, cotto, margarito but I don't see them as serious tests.

Yet no one was successful at that versus a prime Chavez

in fact that's would floyd would TRY to do, and in his prime chavez did not fight anyone who was slick, fast, and with such a solid defense as floyd.

but again as I said, I lean towards chavez, but I also see how mayweather could win this.

ive said it before..along with duran and tyson..chavez is the most overrated fighter in the history of boxing..he was slow and easy to hit..he blew up his record in MEXICO fighting nobodies..everytime he got in with a good fighter he lost or struggled..whitaker de la hoya..ill give u tszyu because he was older..

and who thee hell is too say chavez is stronger then castillo?

and for the ppl saying it would be similar to taylor chavez..go watch the fight again..chavez was losing and got a lucky knockout in the last round

I think Chavez Jr. would get creamed by Mayweather in short order....

I agree taylor should have won the fight, but chavez broke his bones and made him piss blood for a while, so he would have been taken care of in the rematch.

as for chavez and duran being among the most overrated fighters in the history of the sport, I will just not answer
