Either Goosen sucks, or GGG and Chavez Jr. are scared of Andre Ward. GGG wouldn't move up to 168 to fight Ward, yet suddenly, he's willing to move up to 168 to fight Chavez Jr.? Something is wrong here, and I don't think GGG is scared of anyone...but I may be wrong.

He signed a contract so he has to live up to it. its twice now he pulled this **** only to have it backfire on him, maybe Ward is in the wrong here. Everybody always takes the fighters side, including me but you cant forget promotors put a lot of time, effort and money into building these guys up and getting them big paydays so you cant expect Goosen to just say "ok andre, go to another promotor now and ill let you out of the contract you signed", that would be awfully ****** of him.

Let me play devil's advocate. This is a lawsuit that Goosen will probably win. Why would he be against getting him a fight? I get thay andre ward looks ****** for begging for a fight while suing him, but whats the downside for Goosen if he gets him a fight during the mean time? Goosen will get paid too. Is he afraid he'll waste too much capital on ward if he [Goosen] loses? He could just tv package him then. Collect the HBO paycheck and do as little promoting as possible.

As long as this litigation is running I guess the contract will keep extendin if he doesn't fight. He can say other promoters won't work with him because of the promotional bee. Why not lock him up as long as you can.

It's been almost 3 whole years since he had a meaningful or legitimate fight.
