I think people just wanted to see Wlad in a good fight vs a Top guy for once. We were all disappointed as Wlad fought scared against a man he had outsized by a good margin, using wrestling tactics and leaning and throwing instead of boxing.
So when Ali holds and hugs and leans on the ropes all night it's ok now?I sense some more good old time bias here.

People will always say that though, who was Joe Louis career defining win?
        Schmelling?
        Wallcott?

I mean Roy Jones Jr did the same thing he absolutely dominated the division and people gave Montell Griffin no respect during that time even though he beat James Toney a bit like how Tony Thompson in his prime years was undoubtedly a dangerous guy to mess with who's only loss in his prime years were against Wlad.
Perhaps If Wlad stuck to fighting in the US he might of been liked more.

People need to realize the days of old are over whilst they were entertaining I definitely think the heavyweight ranks are a more dangerous place to be fighting in now where the idea of one punch changes it all is definitely more of the case.

I never said the hugging on Frazier in the rematch was acceptable, either. But at least it was against Frazier and not a guy like Povetkin.

Has nothing to do with fighting in the US or not. Get over that crap.

Toney was robbed against Griffen. You need to actually watch these fights instead of just going off of boxrec stats.

These people are beyond help. You clearly know nothing about boxing if you have these opinions, there's just no two ways about it.

What makes frazier so much bettet than Povetkin? Povetkin was never KTFO by some limited bulldozer in Foreman. Get a grip.

Povetkin would be absolutely creamed by Foreman

Povetkin struggled with Huck for crying out loud and got beat up. One Foreman uppercut and Povetkin would be done

Actually WATCH the fight instead of going by boxrec. There was actually outrage at the decision in the boxing world when it happened because the majority felt Toney won it handily by about 4 points.

I didn't mention a thing about Toney vs Peter so don't put words in my mouth.
