Frazier was stopped three times just like Wlad. Why on earth do you guys try rate him higher than Wladimir. His sole win over a faded, ring rust, untrained Ali just doesn't cut the mustard. Wake up.Comment

Frazier was stopped three times by GREAT heavyweight champions.
Wladimir was stopped three times by guys who never accomplished anything else significant.
Frazier's win over Quqrry is better than any win on Wladimir's resume.Comment

He could have but avoided fighting an older Liston during the end of his career. Just like he avoided a bunch of other heavy hitters during his career (it ain't nice getting floored by some random bum named Mike Bruce in your second pro fight).Comment

Frazier was in other words stopped by the best opposition he faced. Wlad was not. Quarry better than anything Wlad beat?? GTFO man that's an absurd statement.Comment

So you think Fraizer taking a flash knock down in the first round of only his second pro fight, then getting up and stopping his opponent shortly after is a valid comparison to Wlad getting knocked down three times en route to getting stopped in his 25th fight, already as a ranked contender and minor titlist, after more than two years as a pro?
Well done! I congratulate you on your ability to simply not give a **** how much of a dumbass you come across as and also on your inability to think with any semblance of intelligence at all.Comment

Coming from a guy who lives in Australia who's main population is made up of criminals...So you think Fraizer taking a flash knock down in the first round of only his second pro fight, then getting up and stopping his opponent shortly after is a valid comparison to Wlad getting knocked down three times en route to getting stopped in his 25th fight, already as a ranked contender and minor titlist, after more than two years as a pro?

For all it's worth, Frazier was KTFO twice, Wlad wasn't. It's a fairly valid comparison in itself. No need denying it. Wlad was never decked by some complete bums like Mike Bruce or the human punchin bag Oscar Bonavena, who floored Frazier twice and almost scored a TKO victory over your dear overrated hero.So you think Fraizer taking a flash knock down in the first round of only his second pro fight, then getting up and stopping his opponent shortly after is a valid comparison to Wlad getting knocked down three times en route to getting stopped in his 25th fight, already as a ranked contender and minor titlist, after more than two years as a pro?

Frazier was chinny as hell, and it's well documented on tape long before Foreman destroyed him twice. Frazier's management were desperately trying to steer him clear of the heaviest hitters during the The Golden Era and did so quite successfully enabling him to carefully build up his 'ATG resume', LOL.
When Ali was stripped of his title, Frazier moreover fails to participate in the 8 man elimination tourney arranged. Instead, Frazier fights the unskilled Buster Mathis and picks up a belt. Fast forward to Jerry Quarry, one of Fraziers career best wins.
Then the first Ali fight. Best fighter Frazier ever faced. But Ali was past prime already and was coming back after his long layoff. Ali hardly trained for Frazier on top of this. IMO Ali won the first Frazier fight and Frazier spent 3 weeks in hospital after the fight ffs.
The rest we all know. Destroyed by Foreman twice and convincingly beat by Ali twice more. Fraziers career after the first Ali fight is mildly put unimpressive.
Is this ATG stuff???Last edited by Weltschmerz; 05-29-2014, 12:10 PM.Comment
