They don't get a chance to become anything more considering the Klitschko's held all the belts for 4 years. And the statement about not being anything before he fought them is a flat lie. I don't need to really elaborate but I will give some names.

Schulz, Byrd x2, Botha, Mercer, Peter, Ibragimov, Thompson, Rahman, Chagaev, Haye, Mormeck and Povetkin.

    • Who were Povetkin's best wins? Huck, a limited CW, who he STILL went life and death with? A beyond shot Rahman? Charr, the human punching bag? Chagaev, Wlad's leftovers?

      Thompson just lost to Takam.

I'm still waiting for you two to contribute something more than verbal ballwashing and jizz gargling. Unfortunately, given both of your post histories, I'll probably grow old and die waiting for that to happen.

How's that Klitschko **** sweat aftershave working out for you btw?

        • Modern fighters aren't better in any way but size.

some would say that's proof that wlad's resume is sh-it but you seem to think those guys are good heavyweights which is puzzling. thompson had never beaten a top 10 guy and wlad fought him twice for some odd reason. guys like botha, mercer, and rahman were obviously shot to pieces. yes mormeck was a great win because he fights like tyson can't argue there.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I bet these fools would consider McCall a great win right now just because he beat Lewis 20 years ago

Modern heavyweights are better in many ways -
                • Size
                • Strength
                • Physically look better (hold weight better)
                • Tactically more sound
                • Technique of the top heavies have improved drastically compared to the wing it and slug brawlers of past.
                • Hit harder

Not to forget the hype on these modern heavies aren't anywhere near as bad as the likes of the 60s and 70s heavies who were more cruiserweights with their weight at times some of these HW bouts the fighters weighed from 185lbs - 197lbs

I'll give Ali credit he over 200lbs but he was far from being a big man of the division.

Wladimir schooled Rahman, Lennox needed two passes to finally get the job done....

Sanders dusted Wladmir in 4 minutes . Rahman didn't need big brother to get the job done. derp!

What comparison is that? That's seven years later and Rahman took 3 more L's before then. Have a sense of a timeline. That's not even bringing up the obvious losses Wlad never redeemed.
