We are going to see just how bad Pac want to fight Floyd. At the end of the year Pac is a free agent, do he walk away from Bob and fight or do he stay and not get the fight. The chose is Pac now.

thats if floyd really want to face him after he becomes a free agent... I doubt there are more conditions to come from floyd before it will going to happen..

Ain't time yet Schaefer. Let the kid get more experience. Ain't ripe for the picking yet. Don't do a canelo again, if canelo had more experience under his belt, Floyd would have been in the fight of his life. The thing is Floyd knew kids won't stand a chance against his vast experience.

Cherry picking 101. Pick a kid who is raw but good and make Floyd look spectacular after he schools him for being less experienced.

So let me get this straight. Although Floyd has did EVERYTHING he could do (but lay down and let them ****** him) to make the Pac fight, Roach is on record basically saying Floyd's su****ions are true cause he didn't trust what Ariza was giving Manny and now with Manny's diminished power, speed and ability to take a punch Roach wants him to move down to 140, your silly ass still says it's Floyd who is avoiding the fight? What Roach is saying is that his side should have just agreed the first time but all the other times, he blames Floyd.

If you believe what Roach said then you need to listen in on your hero Floyd's interviews as they are revealing as to how much he wants to fight Manny.

People need to cut the bullshhhh...now Porter should fight Thurman? Really people...really...we all know that ain't happening. Funny though, Porter has beaten two better ranked and resumed fighters than Guerrero did to fight Floyd, He's beaten two better opponents than Ortiz did but he should go fight Thurman. We all know they ain't putting in Thurman with Porter. Why? Cause that's not how GBP does things...they'll save that fight for later on..what's the point in thurman or porter losing to each other? None at all. If you are a Thurman fan then yes it's a fight that'll perhaps finally get him over the star hump but again let's be real it ain't happening.

Agreed. Porter and Thurman fighting now doesn't even make sense. Porter is a young champion, Thurman is about to step up his level of opposition and show us what he really has. Let them both build more of a buzz and clash when it makes more sense and more is at stake. Ppl need to stop screaming for fights before they are ready and just be fkn patient.

Porter seems to be a very intelligent fighter... He looks like he's preparing for fighting "slick boxers"... That's why I find him intelligent...

Porter will be a hard fighter to defeat with his style but especially because of his intelligence. So far out of all the post(s) that were written, and debated, you were the only one who sees a pattern with what "Team Porter" is trying to achieve.
The more slick fighters he fights, the more battle tested he will be for FMJ, and all his antics....
the rest of the group( Jr. & Welters) are fighting straight ahead slow footed easy to hit brawlers, while Shawn is looking to take out the flee footed, hit & run tactic fighters like Floyd.
Bravo to Porter for preparing himself for up & coming battle, and bravo to you for pointing out the obvious battle plan.....

... For me it became "obvious" only after the fight... Porter's game plan was so "original" in it's simplicity that it drew my attention...

It's really refreshing to watch something new on the deck!
(Some people said Porter is a new little Tyson. He's more than that -- his style is more intricate and adapted to speed and movement.)
