Porter looked good against Malignaggi, that's for sure, but I think people need to take a step back and realize that Porter was way more aggressive against Malignaggi then he would be against anyone else.

Against Paulie, you can throw caution to the wind because you know that he not only lacks power, but also lacks snap and precision. Paulie has survived on his good chin, his smarts, and his movement and hand speed.

I'm actually surprised it took this long for someone to just realize they could negate all of his skills simply by ignoring them.

Porter ate Paulie's best punches and didn't even blink.

Mayweather is not a knockout artist, but he has enough power to force the opposition to respect him.

Porter's aggression against Paulie was not effective aggression, it was reckless abandon. He was winging punches, missing a lot of them at close range, but throwing so many that some landed with devastating effect.

It will take effective aggression to beat Mayweather. Missing wildly at close range could get Porter knocked out. And, honestly, I doubt he'd even take that game plan in to a fight with mayweather.

Shawn Porter was much more than a sparring partner for Pac. Do your research. He gave Pac all that he could handle and even more than he could handle on more than one occasion.

Porter is a far far more legit opponent then Khan. Porter is a champion at 147 and he should fight Mayweather for that fact. He is also a top 10 WW. There only needs to be 1 champion at 147 and right now we have 4. These belt holders need to fight each other.

There is nothing Porter risks by fighting Mayweather now besides his undefeated record. He'll get a payday, exposure, and a chance to fight the best while taking little damage. What exactly is the downside?
Looks that way in hindsight but that wasn't the actual case when the fight happened.

Good fight for the future potentially, but I think Porter needs at least 1 more big performance before this can be seriously talked about.

The reward FAR outweighs the risks. If Mayweather comes to him, Porter should take it.
That's the case for any fighter that "ruins" fighters. A lot of the fighters Hopkins "Ruined" just aren't good fightets. Lacy getting "ruined" by Calzaghe is another one.

You ruin a fighter by giving them a beating.

I do think Mayweather beating fighters knocks their confidence though I.e Hatton. I don't think he was the same after that fight.

Collazo will definitely beat khan ... he'll get countered just like Ortiz did

Yeah, Porter made Floyd's 'scared' list because he KO'd Paulie Malignaggi.
