You might have but that wasn't the case with most and GBP.

GBP thought they had a future star on their hards with Ortiz.

He is a good aggressive boxer but no one in their right mind should believe he has the skills to beat Floyd Mayweather.
Maidana beat a dumpster fire, Kahn beat a paper towel, Guerrero beat B~E~R~T~O, Canelo "beat" Trout. Wins over Alexander,Naggi,Brook should earn him a shot against Floyd or Manny.

Side-note. Floyd could possibly duck to go for Kahn, but who knows.

I agree with this. Porter would make more money fighting Mayweather than he would in all of his fights combined for the rest of his career.

If your a professional boxer in the welterweight neighborhood, the objective should be to build yourself up to get in position to fight Mayweather or Pacquiao.

I feel like the same people who are saying he's going to duck Porter are going to be saying he cherry picked him if they do fight down the line.

When U Come On The Seen & Beat Up Guys, It's Hard To Get Fights

Marquez wanted no part of Porter and he had a belt at '47 he wanted; we see why Marquez didn't want Porter. We see why Marquez didn't want Provo. Kell Brook can't get a fight. Danny Garcia didn't want Provo. When you beat up who they put in front of you, guys look for an easier foe. Guerrero won't fight anybody now that he got his lottery ticket with Floyd. These guys all want some soft path to a title and risk free paydays.

And Khan is again pushed out of the equation. Funny, but still, poor guy.
