Accept a Mayweather fight when you're still building? Fighters need to realize their limits for the good of their own legacy. So what if you're a relatively green fighter, get exposure and then get completely blown out the water by Mayweather?

Look at Guerrero. One year off. Stock plummet. Enough said.

Look at Ortiz. KO'd. Dancing with the Stars? Then get Collazo'd? Come on.

Look at Canelo. Got exposed. His team should have figured out he needed more experience, and that Mayweather had very little if no other big money options other than him. He should have taken his time and fought him much later. Canelo seemed to initially have this mindset of not being rushed or bullied, but some greedy ass hole in his team convinced him out of it.

Guerrero was a decade long pro who was chasing the payday. Ortiz wasn't very good and Golden Boy knew it, they had no reason to keep Mayweather from cherry picking that belt. Alvarez is just fine and still one of the most promising young fighters in the sport.

There is nothing Porter risks by fighting Mayweather now besides his undefeated record. He'll get a payday, exposure, and a chance to fight the best while taking little damage. What exactly is the downside?

Porter seems to be a very intelligent fighter... He looks like he's preparing for fighting "slick boxers"... That's why I find him intelligent...

When Floyd makes an offer you take it. Porter doesn't have Mannys cashe. If he turns down Floyd he might not ever get another offer again.

Hey Floyd why don't you fight the real man Pacquiao? Stop the Ducking!

You may want to watch some Mike Tyson videos. Porter looks exactly like a miniature version.

In case Floyd really wants Porter, it's done... Porter is prepared, in my opinion...

I'm aware of the parallel... In my opinion, Porter has a similar but up-to-dated style... Porter chiefly prepared himself for Floyd's style...

                      We've seen it in sparring!

What we haven't seen was Pac-Floyd! P4p no 1 vs #3!! No more excuses!
