    Well done Hopkins.

Solid win over a below average-average fighter but one of the top guys at LHW.

Testament to how piss poor that division is.

You dont get a pass for fighting substandard opposition because of your age imo.
Shumenov was a title holder, what you want him to do? He's asking for Stevenson next. What he's done is incredible. I don't think a lot of you comprehend his accomplishments. There is a reason it's never been done before. At 46, 48 and 49.

B-Hop is a stud not much more needs to be said, he is beatable if you use athleticism and push the pace but looking to only land as opposed to landing hard.

Still very good performance getting a guy to fall into his trap again, he is great at that

No PEDs back in the older days. Get at me when Bernard is doing this extra testing.

poeple say this win doesnt matter because shumenov isnt worth fighting. Although i agree hes very far from being an elite fighter, he still was a world champion, does that not count for anything. Bhop knocked down a world champion at 49 years old, i dont understand how that can be considered insubstantial.

With Cloud and Shumenov, LHW division had crappy tittle holders, but I still think it's good division. Hopkins, Stevens, Kovalv, Pascal, and Dawson is a good of a top five as any division if not better.

I think people are tempering their views between the facts that BHop is reaching pretty damn uncharted territory with his age, and Shumenov's ability, or lack of it.

Its a weak division, Stevenson would be a good win but will he fight Kovalev?

He is a great boxer dont get me wrong but he is beating substandard comp, its nothing to get excited about.

49 years old and unifying titles. Take note.

Give the man respect, he is a legend, an ATG, an inspiration ,and he got a quality win today over an elite, unorthodox fighter in Shumenov, a student of bruce lee himself. Hopkins greatness cannot go ignored.
