most dudes here LOVE the sport...and therefore we LOVE to talk and watch boxing.....with those things in your DNA and psyche, you HAVE to admire what BHop is doing atm....IMO, the people who discredit him do it for PERSONAL reasons.....he may have struck a nerve with his remarks or the tactics he imply in the ring...I can't put my finger on the EXACT reason cats play the way they play when it comes to BHop, but all I know is that it's PERSONAL.....dudes got issues with the cat they see in the mirror and try to blame that on others....disregard the Debbie Downers, lets celebrate this win!!

Tell us who he was supposed to fight, keeping in mind that when he fought Chad Dawson, Kovaelev and Adonis Stevenson weren't even on anybodies Top list, as they were nobodies.

You can't even say that he ducked anybody since these guys just emerged last year and one of them (Stevenson) is about to fight Hopkins. I'm not sure what the problem is, other then you being a bit irrational.

i scored calzaghe fight for bhop by a point.

and he wasnt supposed to win the trinidad fight, he was massive underdog, as he was in the tarver fight.

Doesn't matter what popularity and in the moment say, Trinidad was a career welterweight.

Irrational is the best way to describe the majority of posters on this site, especially those against Hopkins.

I watched the Hopkins/Porter/Quillin fights with my family members and 2 friends. We all had fun, Hopkins gave us some laughs and "oohs", it was a great night, good discussions. Then I come here to, how Mangler called it "Non Stop B*tching" and see so called "hardcore" fans b-tching day in and day out about a fight. Like old grumpy men, not being able to say anything positive about the night of boxing.

Hell, I dislike Pac, and all I did was praise his latest fight on how good it was, but these guys in this thread all they do is constantly talk negative about fighters who don't have the style they like, or the color. I'm the bad poster? The non-boxing fan. These guys have to look in the mirror.
